CBN Gov appointment, another litmus test for mr president....

As Soludo's tenure expires in CBN, toothless, purposeless and directionless Nigerian President is at it again. Trying to bring ethnicity and politics into appointment of CBN gov. Soludo who is among the 10 best World economist nominated by the world bank to find solution to the crisis ravaging the world economy; has he not done enough in the Nigerian banking industry to earn him second tenure? or is Yaradua going to murder CBN appointment as seen in removal of Dora from Nafdac and sacking of Ribadu from Efcc. Must the Chairman National planning commission, Minister of finance and cbn gov come from Kano state alone along side min of petroleum, nnpc boss etc from Kano/katsina axis.

NIgerian economy/cbn governorship should be more than political appointment.
If soludo should go, then I think it's only Ogujobi, the former Deputy boss of African Dev bank that has a near intl. exposure and competence with 35 yrs experience in banking of intl repute like ADB to man that seat; not those been fronted b/c they are from the North or so.

But the issue is what makes Soludo not to deserve a 2nd tenure. Yaradua is under another test. Whether he will pass or fail is a matter of some hours, less than 48 from now.

A nation where artisans are leaders, we r waiting.....
