LEAP Africa, through the support of the US Government, Microsoft and the International Youth Programme is proud to announce the Employability Programme. The programme is designed to provide youth between 16 and 35 with life, leadership and employability skills.

The objectives of the programme are to provide youth with:

Crucial work based experiences within a youth – development approach
An employment experience that put them in touch with real life labour expectations and practices
Career instruction and greater awareness of support networks and various employment opportunities

PROGRAMME DESIGN

Participants enrolled in the programme are required to attend a non-residential five day training programme. Within six months of the programme, beneficiaries will have the opportunity to be placed in organizations as interns, volunteers or part-time/full-time staff . This will enable them gain critical skills and meaningful work experience.
