Vacancy for Design (Trainee) Engineers in an Oil and Gas Servicing Company

We are an independent geosciences and engineering consultancy company operating upstream oil and gas industry. We are looking for trainee Chemical/Mechanical Design Engineers to join our team.

Key responsibility
As a Design Engineer,

• You will be involved with technical Design and Project Development involving detailed calculations, design, specifications and more; including engineering analysis, studies, conceptual, FEED and detailed design for both onshore and offshore oil & gas projects.

You will handle static equipment design calculations, preparation of data sheets, specifications, review and evaluation of vendor data, equipment sizing and coordination with other disciplines.


Minimum Requirements:
Ideally, candidate will possess at least Degree level qualifications in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with 1-2 years post NYSC experience in the industry. You will need to have knowledge about design and detailed engineering of pressure vessels, columns, storage tanks, reactors etc.

Ability to work with limited resources.
Team player; leads by exemplifying shared organizational values.
Good command of English both oral and written.
Knowledge of some commercial design software.
