Vacancy For Accountant with Oil and Gas Experience

Vacancy exists within a multinational oil servicing company for the position of Financial Accountant.Desired candidate should be an experienced, career minded, articulate individual who is very comfortable working in a multinational environment.A self starter, degree qualified and Chartered with ACA or ACCA, you are expected to: Tender review and contracts management; Maintain a fixed asset register? Ensure tax compliance for Personal Income Tax; Withholding Tax; Value Added Tax and Corporate Income Tax liaising with the Revenue Perform continuous review and development of processes across the Nigerian office to improve both reporting and cost efficiencies Direct and supervise the transmission of relevant documents and information to CFC office for further processing, Maintain a solid internal control environment with sound document retention/management practices and prepare monthly reconciliation statements for balance sheet accountsReporting globally to the Regional Finance Controller (in E&A), locally to the General Manager based in Lagos and by proxy to Corporate Finance Control (CFC) and Regional Director E&A in Amsterdam Head-Office, this position will lead the accounting and support the commercial functions within the country.Other RequirementsACA OR ACCA Change management experience; Experience in working autonomously and managing a team; Some Knowledge of and experience with ERP systems (eg.
