Good morning guys. My interview is this morning. To the guys who have had theirs, were they more interested in your personality than in your preferred business segment?

God's favor in your interview today. I had mine yesterday. Just be relaxed and let them see that you are genuinely interested in working for unilever. At this stage, its still the outsourcing firm conducting the recruitment, if you scale thru to the next stage, then it should be unilever proper. Questions are basically on your personality, leadership skills, problem solving skills, how u face challenges and also what unit do u want to work in and why? Gods grace is yours. I encourage everybody who has not heard from dem yet to stay positive as phone interviews should end today while the other processes still continues.

It was the face to face interview and your venue will be communicated to you thru a phone call or text.

Hey guys, I had my interview this morning and I thank God it went well. Just be relaxed and be as detailed as possible. Try to express genuine interest and understanding of the UFLP and what career path you intend to follow.

Waiting patiently for invitation for the Assessment centre. I thank God for bringing me this far.

I read systems engineering and am so freaked out right now cos of this other information. So please for those of us that have/will do their interview, kindly inform me of this info ASAP. Am in lagos. Relax! i got a mail without an sms for tomorrow and am in PH, i just saw the mail this evening. So i called the number in the mail and the lady who spoke with said i should send an sms to her with my name and email add. I later received this text, Due to the EYO Festival taking place tomorrow, face2face interviews have been re-scheduled for 28th Nov, 2011. Kindly disregard all emails earlier sent: for your re-scheduled time will be communicated to you via email. I dont think any interview will hold tomorrow.

Customer Development
Our products have to be on the shelves for them to sell. Focusing on the customers who stock our products, from little corner shops to major supermarkets, the Customer Development team works to make our brands available to anyone who wants them. Any work in this area demands a lot of motivation and an ability to tackle tough situations. After all, you’ll be on the front lines, working as an ambassador for our products, making sure people forget the competition and think of Unilever first.
You will experience this in at least three rotations. In Trade Category Management, you will work with customers and/or within trade channels to develop appropriate assortments, shelf- layouts, promotional strategies & price positions, based on shopper, customer & channel insights.
In Customer Marketing: you will be expected to develop & execute fully integrated, insight based brand/category solutions & activities for customers / channels based on shopper, customer & channel insights.
Another exciting area in our Customer Development function is the Account Management & Field Execution (CD Operation). You will be expected to develop a customer strategy and business plan jointly with our customers, gain commitment from both the customer and the organisation, resource it appropriately, and follow up on execution. You will also ensure a smooth and cost-effective operation between the company, customers, and specific third parties.
Your Development
Excel, impress, and prove yourself – and there will be nothing you can’t do here. To start you off, there’s a comprehensive business introduction, which will give you the ins and outs of Unilever and an overview of business in general. For each particular career area, there’s a special Professional Skills programme which combines local, on-the-job training with national events: this will help you gain all the particular skills you need for your placement. the two ladies that interviewed me said they will get to me in few days time. So we should wait at least for all the interview to finish.

pls house, those anyone know the last day for the face2face interview? Make i use build the faith of my friend, she's getting so worried that she has not been contacted for the face2face interview.

d face to face is meant to last for at least two weeks, so she shuldnt lose faith cos its still on nd also till she receives a regret or rejection msg, she shuldnt lose faith...its well.

Ladies, take this recruitment seriously o, a piece of advice.

Hi all, I don't know why nobody is talking abt the unilever final interview(asessment centre). Superbrain say sometin,anyboby with useful information should keep us posted.

Hello guys, sorry bout that. The Unilever Assessment lasted the whole day and I had another assessment the next day. I'm trying to recuperate from the stress. For the records, we were told only 54 people made it to the AC. I will post my experience as soon as I'm strong enough to type much.
