Job Summary
The travel consultant will specialize in coordinating and booking travel arrangements for individuals, family, groups and businesses.
Job Details:

• Responsible for flight booking and managing client’s itinerary (domestics/internationals)
• Advising clients on travel arrangements, e.g. visas and passports
• Assist client to secure hotel accommodation, airport pick up service etc.
• Conduct research on various destinations and means of travel regarding prices, customs, weather conditions reviews etc
• Analyze client's specifications and suggest suitable travel packages or services
• Create and update electronic records of clients
• Maintain relationships with key persons
• Keep financial statements and documents of every trip
• Ensure that company’s revenue and profit targets are met
• Dealing with complaints or refunds
• Handle client's needs, budgets, likes and dislikes to make appropriate recommendations
• Supply clients with pertinent information and useful materials (guides, maps, event programs etc)

Job Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of travelling software (Computer reservation system, GDS systems, e-travel)
• Ability to present, persuade and communicate effectively
• Ability to handle queries, resolve issues and follow up on clients
• Excellent customer-service skills
• Must be detail oriented
• Must have strong organizational skills
• Proven working experience as a travel consultant
