Job description

EGINA is a deep offshore oil and gas project in Nigeria , located 150Km from the coast .
Development in 1500 m water depth includes a moored FPSO ,an offloading calm buoy , production loops and injection lines .
Gas is exported via a pipe line.

ACTIVITIES
•Review and challenge where appropriate the requisitions raised by the requesters
•Develop and maintain market information
•Propose, pre-qualify and recommend suitable suppliers for bid lists to maximise tendering efficiency
•Draft appropriate contractual and commercial terms and conditions to best serve and protect the Company’s interests
•Compile and issue tender packages to procure the most realistic and commercially attractive proposals from potential suppliers
•Review bids, participate in the clarifications and conduct the commercial negotiations
•Review and consider the legal aspects associated with buying, and provide advice to clients as appropriate
•Finalise and issue Purchase Orders
•Follow-up the delivery of goods with the selected suppliers
•Provide feedback on a regular basis to the requesters on the progress of the orders.

Required skills

Education •Diploma level, working towards formal CIPS professional diploma and/or SVQ in procurement level 3. Experience •A minimum of 2/3 years experience, good understanding of the supply chain process and fully conversant with the use of integrated business systems for all business activities associated with procurement.
•Knowledge of the legal aspects associated with procurement would be preferable.
