TOTAL Nigeria Plc in partnership with the
French Embassy in Nigeria (Ministry of
Foreign & European Affairs) is co-financing
a scholarship program intended for
outstanding Nigerian engineering and
science student for Masters program in
France.

Study in France
This scholarship will be awarded in Nigeria
for the 2013/2014 academic year.
The scholarship is dedicated to students
willing to apply for a master degree in
France in the following fields:
Renewable Energy and processes
Solar Engineering
Energy Economics & Environment
Eligibility Criteria
Only candidates of Nigerian nationality are
eligible to apply
Students must not be above 35years of age
Must be a first degree holder with at least
Second class upper division relevant to the
fields defined above
Required Documents
Copy of your diplomas, transcripts and all
certificates: (WAEC, Bachelor, Master, etc)
Detailed resume: (CV)

Valid means of identification i.e. Driver's
license, National ID or International
passport
Motivation letter (wich should describe in
detail: Your background (your studies &
professional experience so far), Your choice
of course and why? and Your professional
expectations (jobs & opportunities you are
expecting to access with the new skills)
How your new knowledge will contribute to
Nigeria
Application Closing Date
No application will be accepted after 25th
January, 2013
How To Apply
Log onto www.campusfrance.org to make
your choice of masters program (You are
advised to make your choice carefully after
checking the curricula)
You must choose a master degree directly
related with your first degree
French proficiency is not required. English
speakers can apply for programs taught in
English

You will be pre-selected for the scholarship
BEFORE applying for the master degree,
BUT the scholarship will be granted only
upon admission confirmation from the
institution you have applied to.

All the requisite documents must be

@elprinz, basically candidates will av to scale through the pre-selection process ( docs screening, tests, interviews etc) that will be handled by the sponsors. Successful candidates will then be asked to apply to d school of their choice. It is ONLY when your admission has been confirmed, dt ull be granted the scholarship. To apply, u choose d MSc prog online, den u send d required docs to one of d emails above. All d best homes!

Please i am not trying to discourage ppl but why would total use an email and hotmail email???? they do everything through their website. secondly why isnt there any link btw the www.campusfrance.org and total???? i checked the website.

Not sure but i believe this post was constructed to attract traffic to that site knowing full well that we are all aware of total france pg scholarship, as such, we won't doubt clicking. Coz it's kind of clear someone wants people to be aware of her services in securing admission overseas.

Like i said, i'm not sure but if i'm right, then, whoever did this is a very intelligent person & i give credits (no clear trace of scam/spam).

However, if my suspicion is wrong, then, i'll be glad to have a clear lead as to how to apply coz i've wandered around the site to no avail.

To apply for admission in Campus France, visit www.campusfrance.org/en . Then click "Study in France". After that, click "English taught courses". Then select "Engineering and technical programs". Make a comment here when u're thru with d application.

@mexx4u2nv, that's where I stopped. My system couldn't open the Engineering and technical program. Was your system able to open the Engineering and technical program column? Maybe Total intentionally made the admission application difficult since they want to sponsor only 5 graduates this year.

You are not to apply to any school. You are just to note a course related to the 3 specific areas they stated. What I think you should do is notify them of the course you intend to pursue (after checking the campusfrance.org) in your motivation letter ie the course and school. You then tailor ur letter to contain what they say they want to see in it. That's all. You wld apply to the school after you av been pre-selected for the scholarship, sirs and mas

I heard that UK make more than a Billion pounds from foreign students each year. guys, even if it's overstated know it will still be substantial. Like someone here said earlier, this is a very intelligent ploy to draw traffic to the site, and I agree. For those who missed the deadline, go to facebook and type in campus france nigeria. You would notice the stuff has been there since 16th and you can even apply to another scholarship that has wider courses and would expire on 28th. I think this campus france wants a piece of the very lucrative educational pie and try to replicate what British Council is for the UK.
In my opinion(my humble opinion) there is a greater longer term benefit for this countries. Lets say for example you studied in france(not UK for a change) and you got a job and rose through the ranks ton be come a key decision maker in Nigeria i.e minister. and you have to give a contract to a british or a french country. Who would get it. In essence this is not just about the money it is also about influence. Influence on us the leaders of tomorrow. Not just in Nigeria but many parts of the world. Students of International relations will recognise that this cancient craft.

Peeps, this is no scam. Who says there's no link between Total and France. Total is a french company. Please let's us try and double check posts before we counter them so as not to discourage those that are willing to apply. This was published in a Nigerian daily. I submitted my application on the deadline. The challenge was that mail to the total.com.ng wasn't delivering while the other (hotmail.fr) was delivering. I just hope that one alone should suffice for the application. Thanks
