Technical Assistant for a Reputable Engineering Company in Lagos
A leading Nigerian Infrastructure Services Company which offers key telecommunications network infrastructure solutions that include supply and installation of equipment, equipment testing, commissioning and maintenance of telecommunication networks,seeks a qualified candidate for the position of Technical Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer.
Responsibilities Include
- Research, Analyze and Interpret Complex Technical and Commercial Information and present back to the CEO and Board.
- Provide technical and commercial analysis and reports on the application of new technology ventures and propositions presented to the business.
- Prepare Business cases for technical presentations, proposals and projects which are to be delivered to the CEO and board.
- Required to identify possible technology trends and have an eye for spotting next big thing.
- Manage Business Schedule for the CEO, will also prepare agenda and minutes for meetings.
Qualifications and Skills
- A bachelors’ degree in Engineering, with a minimum of 2nd Class Upper. A Masters in Business Administration (MBA) will be an added advantage.
- 1-2 years experience in an engineering position.
- Strong Hybrid skills covering both Technical and Business Understanding ,must be very commercially aware and focused on the bottom line in evaluating technical issues.
- Strong Technical and Commercial writing, reporting and researching skills.
- Ability to work on complex technical and business issues where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of variable factors.
- Must be able to act independent to determine methods and procedure on new assignments.
- A strong problem solver, with a proactive attitude and outside the box creative thinking to finding solutions to technical issues that may arise.
