Job Title: Designated Person Ashore

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor the safety and pollution prevention aspects of each vessel.
- Ensure that adequate resources and shore- based support are applied, as and when required;
- Draw up the year’s audit schedule;
- Liaise with external auditors for office and vessel audits.
- Ensure all mandatory and relevant rules, regulations, codes and guidelines and standards are implemented

Qualifications
- First Degree - Bachelor or HND
- Certified ISM Code Lead Auditor
- NEBOSH International General Certificate
- Chief Security Officer (CSO) Certificate
- Over 6 years Experience in SMS Manual Review and implementations for vessels
