PTDF Overseas Scholarship Scheme PhD Applicant. What is the latest

Some of us who applied for the advertised PTDF OSS PhD option are still yet to here anything from them. If any body in the house have information regarding what is happening should pls share. :(

The list of short-listed candidates for the interviews will be published this or early next week. and the interviews will take place early next month. the result of successful scholars is expected to be released in mid july and induction in late or early august. <source: Reliable>

@Nigerdeltaman, thanks very much for the info. Do you have any info on what criteria would be used in shorlisting. As I can recall from what happened in the case of the MSc where people who happen to be very qualified were not even shortlisted.

Providing you have uploaded (updated) the required documents in their website you will be shortlisted if your proposal suit the needs of PTDF and oil and gas in particular. Generally you must have valid offer from a UK university starting in September or thereafter (2010/2011). Prayers will then work in the interview stages as many things are likely to happen. With God we trust!

Normally, the induction ceremony for the OSS program comes up in the first week of August. How come the results for the PhD interviews are still not out? Anyone with an idea of when it will be released? :(
