SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manage the interface between external security agencies and SPDC staff in the district and ensure harmonious relationship.
2 • Provide Area Security Adviser with up to date information and intelligence.
3 • Develop security checklist for all facilities in the district and devise action to deal with emerging security issues.
4 • Manage the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) issues related to the delivery of security services in the districts.
5 • Maintain response procedures for security contingency and simulate drills/exercises to test state of preparedness.
6 • Provide weekly security reports on incidents occurring in the districts to the Area Security Adviser
7. Maintain response procedures for Security contingency and simulate drills and exercises to test them.
8 • Assess and analyse surveillance/intelligence reports on continuous basis and make proactive dispositions of resources on ground(external security personnel and Spy Police where applicable.
9 • Assist ASA to monitor security budget spend on external security personnel/logistics in the districts by providing correct figures an personnel /logistics on ground.
10 • Provide transit and in-field security coverage for the Project /business crews visiting remote locations.
11. To set up and manage security risk database to monitor crime trends that would facilitate strategic planning and proactive action/ assit in Incident Investigation.
12. Implement the applicable mitigation measures applicable under the Security Operating Level (SOL).
13. Develop and maintain detailed log of security related events and stoppages. |

REQUIREMENT
| •Good knowledge of security operations with a minimum of 3 years field experience (Security Certificate is an advantage) •Good knowledge of business and understanding of local environment • Tactical planner and good data manager •A good post-secondary school certificate (University Degree is an advantage) | |
