PRODUCTION MANAGER(furniture company)

We are a top furniture company based in Lagos. we need someone who will manage the production process of our factory in its all ramifications - production, quality control, cutting list etc, strategic production planning among others.
This role will be responsible for all aspect of the on-site operation including managing and developing the manufacturing operations to achieve budget, exceeding customer expectations in quality and service, and meeting product quality parameters.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following attributes and skills:
Management Experience:
Senior Management level experience in wood-based panels’ production, active participation and decision making in operation level. Experience at the strategic level would be a plus.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• The main function of this role is planning, coordination and control of manufacturing processes and ensuring efficient production of MFC products:
• He will be expected to ensure the optimal productions levels t the desired product quality level:
• He must assume major involvement and responsibility for both the pre-production stage as well as the production control and supervision stage.
• Overseeing the production process and adjusting schedules:
• Ensuring that the production is cost effective and making sure that products are produced on time and are of acceptable quality
• Outside plant project involvement and designs
REQUIREMENTS
• B.Sc Engineering related
• Experience in wood manufacturing designs, engineering, project related business
• At lease 7 years experience in wood panel manufacturing industry
• Experience in implementing enterprise resource planning
• Fluent in English
