Procurement Managerin a firm in Lagos Full-timeIndustry Construction / Real EstateSpecialization Construction, Engineering,Minimum Qualification DegreeRequired Experience 1 - 3 yearsApplication Deadline 2012-09-13Our client requires the services of a qualified candidate to fill the following position:Location: LagosResponsibilities:Develop and Implement procurement processes, Material Plans and Suppliers Qualification strategies.Solicit, receive and analyze procurement proposals, quotations, submission tenders and supply agreements for determining appropriateness of pricing, terms and conditions. Ensure that accurate and complete accounting, reporting and internal control systems are functioning and that all relevant records are properly maintained.Prepare purchase requisitions, approve and issues purchase orders in accordance with company policy and negotiated terms and conditions.Liaise with the Finance Department to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices, as necessary for the business with the supplier.Prepare, monitor and Control procurement departments expenditure within agreed budgetDevelop and implement a procurement processes monitoring system to eliminate deficiencies in procurement processes. Supervises assigned staff (e.g. employee concerns/problems, directing work, training, disciplining, performance appraisals, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring work assignments are complete and within department objectivesQualifications and Requirements:35years and above1-3 years experience in related fieldFirst degree in civil engineer, Estate Management, Geographyzhttp://jobs.vanguardngr.com/job/?id=169198
