Plant operator

Specific Responsibilities:
> Collaborates closely with customer and engineering firm on the construction and core processes of facility (HAZOP reviews, site logistics layout, process redundancy, safety devices, etc).
> Participates in the development of systems and procedures required for VGS compliance
Develops operating procedures for facility
> Participates in the development of systems for numerous other aspects of future operations including: quality control, site logistics, regulatory compliance, permitting, operational training, etc.
> Key role in the development of distributed control system (DCS) architecture and implementation
> Overall Operating Performance
> Documents all procedures used during production process.
> Monitors production process by setting and programming controls; watching gauge levels; operating computer console.
> Ensures proper operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; reporting malfunctioning units.
> Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations; patrolling unit.
> Maintains continuity among work shifts by communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
> Completes any other duties that may be assigned in order to complete the job

QUALIFICATION
> Process Technology (P Tech) degree or equivalent preferred
> Possess strong communication (written / verbal) skills
> 1-3+ years working experience
