Brother sorry my response is coming late, they have never set skills test as part of the test, but u never can tell

If u have d time, u may want to brush up and keep all ends properly tidied...but I doubt if there will be skills test, cos this is not the final selection, there will still be an interview...really standardized interview before anyone is awarded the scholarship.

You can get your passport in a matter of 3 days (express service). If you are in Lagos, go to the Immigration office in Ikoyi or Festac. You can even get it same day if you meet the right people. If you need more info, you can PM me.

In any case, I believe they should be able to allow you write the test. But you still need to have an international passport in case you win the scholarship and you decide to proceed for your study.

Vityno the int'lpassport have a page where your data and passport is, i believe they want us to photocpy it cos it is among the credentials to be collected. if you dont have yet u can get it from immigration office in ur area, lagos? very easy go early in the morning with minimum of 20,000. do not give to the ppple at the get , go inside you will meet the right person to help you get it that day.

aptitude test? what kind of question can some expect in skill test.

please house, i want to know how many questions in all and please will skill test such as petroleum geology/geophysics be set. One of the beneficiaries 2 years ago told me it is 140 questions in all. 100 as skill test in petroleum geology, 20 as maths/quantitative reasoning and 20 as english/verbal reasoning. please i need somebody to confirm or correct me.

@SHINNING STAR, I doubt your 'beneficiary' was one of the successful ones 2 years ago. Probably 3 years ago because Mobil changed to dragnet 2 years ago and it was the same old verbal, quantitative ans spatial (for the past 2 years). However, some people (not all successful ones) were called for a second round of test at their HQ in Lagos and I think (if my memory serves me well) it was also an aptitude test.

In order words, I would not say that you shouldn't prepare for a skills test. But as at last year, I can boldly say there was no such thing as a skills test.

Just do very well in your aptitude test and make sure you prove to them you deserve the award during the interview.

Guys does anyone know if mobil employ their scholars?

I need some help here. Can anyone give details on whether Mobil allows one to defer this scholarship after securing it? I mean, use the scholarship not this term, but next term.
I'd appreciate responses from people who have tried this.
