It seems nobody is taking abt d date and d venue. And I heard 17th of dis month, pls house how true it is.
i receive an email from nlng 4 amptitude test last week and this week monday i also recieve a call 4rm them asking did i get an email notification 4 an ampitude test and i was told that the venue and the specific date will be communicated. Pls if any one hv recieve mail concerning d venue and date pls notify me tru ([email protected]) or call 08038774043
some persons have gotten sms 4 d venue of the test,some are writing on d 12th,8th and 6th of july

I actually got the mail 2day, bt guys i have a small problem cos presently am out of the country and my date for the test is 12th july, and wat i came for here is rounding up by 19th july.

@salisukb,was it d first email sent on the 6th u received,notifying u of being shortlisted or d presented one of dis week notifyin u of the test venue n change of date to july.some only recieved the 1st mail for being shortlisted n nt d present.

For those asking question if Bsc holders were invited for the aptitude test, read this:
JOB TITLE: TRAINEE OPERATOR REF: PO/2013/001 LOCATION: BONNY ISLAND
The Person:
The right candidate should:
- Possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Chemical, Process,
Industrial, Mechanical or Electronics /Electrical Engineering,
obtained at a minimum of Upper Credit
- Not be more than 28 years old.
If you possess a Bsc/Beng/Msc, you won't be invited because this job is meant for operators and not full Engineers. When Halliburton, Chevron, Total, etc advertised and said- Bsc/Beng, no HND holder was invited for their screening tests. That's part of the screening.
Secondly, if you are above 28yrs by March 2013 or your 28th birthday was before March 2013, then you are not eligible for this job, hence, the reason you weren't invited, just relax, yours will also come, NLNG isn't the end of the world. NNPC hopefuls didn't die, so you won't die IJN!
Finally, whatever will be in this life will be no matter what. Securing job isn't always based on being the most intelligent/smartest graduate applicant, it takes:
1. God's favour
2. Destiny
3. Timing
4. And in fact, grace.
I can boldly tell you that most people here still job-hunting are far better than those working in top rank companies. And it doesn't mean the bribed their ways or knew somebody, but its cos they were favoured and chosen by God to be there.
I participated in the last NNPC recruitment, went for the interview, etc, but wasn't called at last despite the fact that I performed excellently at the interview. At least, when u fail sth u ought to know if u are a good student.
I have also reached Glo final screening, wasn't called despite the fact that I was a mentor to others that were invited for medicals.
In fact, if I tell you guys how many top rank jobs I have been to their final interview but wasn't called for medicals, you would pity and cry for me. But you don't have to pity for me because I know God knows why and I know that maybe the time for me to get into those firms hasn't come or I wasn't destined to be in those firms.
Not all of us are destined to work in top rank firms, not all are destined to even work.
Some are destined to suffer, work hard and finally discover their route, and maybe own their own businesses and companies and employ people.
Some are destined to work in top rank companies.
Some are destined to work in low rank companies and then save up capital to establish their own businesses.
Some are destined to be entrepreneurs.
Some people might not even make it big like they dream, but maybe their children or children-children will rule this country and be in top places.
So, let's not kill ourselves. Just do your best and leave the rest for God and destiny. Stay blessed.
