Re: NLNG TRAINEE OPERATOR INTERVIEW UPDATE
Trust Him with Your Dreams
It's good to be passionate about your dreams, but did you know a dream can become an idol? If that's all you think about and you're not going to be happy unless it happens your way, that's out of balance. The fact is, sometimes you have to put that dream on the altar.
Are you frustrated because you're trying to force things to happen on your timetable? Sometimes we hold on to things so tightly, but actually, when we let them go, that's when God can bring them to pass. If you'll release that frustration and not let it become the center of your attention, but instead use that same time and energy to thank God that He's directing your steps, you open the door for God to give you the desires of your heart.
We have to remember, God already knows what we want and what we are in need of. He's the One who put those desires in us. We shouldn't be consumed by trying to make things happen. Instead, a greater act of faith is to be happy right where you are; to stay open and trust God because He has good plans in store for your future

@MOBILO, a food for thought expression/statement. Thanks man.
God actually wants the best for everybody but this world lying in the power of the wicked one( satan the devil ) sometimes makes our expectations not to work out. But our loving heavenly father has promised that through his messianic kingdom everything would be right in his own due time. Think about the meaning of our lord's prayer. Sincerely praying to GOD to direct our steps would certainly help us to find the right way to worship GOD. "Go in through the narrow gate; because broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are the ones going in through it; whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it." GOD can open our eyes to see that road if we prepare our hearts for that.
Never lose hope my people....

Gud mng ppl,
Somebody last week was given us advice not to forget God when we get to NLNG, my dear, may i tell you that NLNG can never affect my walk with God,I have been serving God before this time, can not allow this to affect that. I can not forget my source because of a little success else i will block the bigger ones He's going to do. Anything God does for us He's looking out if we will be faithful and not forget Him. Another week has begun again, wish everybody best of luck.

Re: NLNG TRAINEE OPERATOR INTERVIEW UPDATE
Doubt is the enemy of Faith and breeds FEAR and DISCOURAGEMENT. Doubt is the Father of distrust and brother to low self-confidence. It is a tool the enemy uses to drive a wedge between you and your heavenly Father. We know that without Faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). Doubt is the predecessor of Fear, which is birthed in our lack of confidence in the promises of God.
Don't give in to DOUBT today.

Re: NLNG TRAINEE OPERATOR INTERVIEW UPDATE
@Voltron,
Today's gone again, what is the source of this your info. Anyway thanks man for raising our hope again. I know it will happen one day.NLNG list is becomin like the coming of Christ, that nobody can predict again, only OCCUPY TILL ITS COME.It is well ppl
-
God will do it in SLB
@Bidey, What you said can happen to anybody becos true servants of GOD have a wrestling against the wicked spirit forces in the heavenly places . So that is why anyone serving GOD should always pray for deliverance from the wicked one. Anyone who forgets GOD when he/she has "temporay comfort" means that the person is not in support of JEHOVAH'S universal sovereignty. He has promised of a time for permanent comfort for "everybody". A time when the devil and his demons, wicked people, sin, sickness, death, even unemployment etc will not be again. So what profit will I have by drifting away from the faith/forgeting GOD just becos of a "temporary comfort" to be faced with sickness or death. I should or we all should be praying for GOD'S kingdom if we really love GOD and our fellow humans. There are people suffering more than we do everyday e.g JOS Crises, Haiti earthquake etc. So if possible I want the Kingdom to come today today or even now.
-
God will do it in SLB
...So my brother Bidey, I'm an advocate of that kingdom and that is what anybody who says he/she is in union with him(Jesus Christ) should always do. Well, one thing has to be accomplished before the end comes."And this goodnews of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come"(Matthew 24:14). This is becos GOD does not desire any of us to be destroyed but for all sorts of men to be saved and come to an accurate knowledge of the truth. And GOD is only going to save those walking through the narrow gate. Pray for GOD'S holy spirit to direct you. False teachings is rampant today so we need that Spirit to help us understand what GOD's word really teaches.
@all hopefuls, we only struggle as humans but GOD can do the best. None of us can add one cubit to his life span by being anxious and even when a person has an abundance his life does not result from the things he possesses. Only to ask GOD to sustain our lives as HE also helps us to cope with any kind of anxiety and deal with any life difficult situation. God can do anything at all now and in the future by means of his messianic kingdom. The world is passing away and so is its desire, but he that does the will of GOD remains forever either with a heavenly reward as priests to our God and kings over the earth or as loyal subjects of the kingdom in a righteous new world. This is the truth.

Re: NLNG TRAINEE OPERATOR INTERVIEW UPDATE
@Maxweber,
I have read most of your posts and have discovered some of your religious inclinations. My sincere prayer is that may God never disappoints you and settle you on time, broda, you have a good heart. Keep telling the truth, be faithful and true, let others see Jesus in You. don't worry, your testimony shall soon be read by all. God bless ya all.
@ All hopefuls, keep on believing and be expectant of the life's transforming mail.It SHALL HAPPEN SOONEST
-
maxweber
@MOBILO, thanks man for that. You've been on this thread and other related ones concerning this NLNG stuff. So never relent too becos your testimony is on the way. I also appreciate something about you, when 'some' appeared to be selfcentred you imbibe the spirit of encouraging others and keeping hopes alive. Keep it up because that spirit will help you in your place of work and NLNG will appreciate that.
@all hopefuls, no matter how long it takes, when it comes, please, don't fail to give the best accolades to God almighty. Wishing everyone success. Thanks.

Re: NLNG TRAINEE OPERATOR INTERVIEW UPDATE
Hope. This four-letter word is a paradox. You can't take hope to pay a bill but it will help you to hold on until help arrives. It won't get you a job but will keep you until employment arrives.
Hope will not put dinner on the table but it will keep you steady until food arrives.
In the book of Proverbs, the writer declares that hope deferred will make the heart sick. The psalmist sings that he puts his hope in God. It is where his hope comes from.
-
Re: NLNG TRAINEE OPERATOR INTERVIEW UPDATE
Hope is like an overlooked five hundred naira note in the pocket of a garment. You didn't know it was there and was not able to use it when you were hungry, broke or tired. Hope found will give you the confidence to continue against great odds. What looked like impossible becomes possible.
Hope will sustain you. Be convinced today that the condition in which you live will change because God has the power to hold you steady and will give you a new vision about the way things can be.
-
maxweber
Hey, M O B I LO that's a good one indeed!
If not because of HOPE( especially for GOD'S rich blessings to come ) humans would lose focus. So we should be thankful to GOD almighty for the HOPE he has given us. HE knows it is never easy to wait. But we have to note one thing: the way he counts days is never same as we do. A day in HIS eyes is like a thousand year in our eyes.

Yes! GOD can do it.
Yes oh! Kicking against partiality, prejudice, bias, favoritism and other vices. Upholding transparency, honesty, impartiality and other godly qualities as imitators of GOD. Wishing that those to be selected will abide by those moral values as they go into NLNG no matter how long the waiting continues. Practice making a better society with the "future in view"...

Re: NLNG TRAINEE OPERATOR INTERVIEW UPDATE
4:18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. 4:19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb: 4:20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God, GUYS KEEP UR FAITH ALIVE.
-
Thank God.
@MOBILO, addy noted but am not able to chat now. Keep it up man! God will do it.
@charly20, you missed the bible book name. But, from my research I found it as Romans 4:18-20. In fact, Abraham's faith is worthy of emulation. "Although beyond hope, yet based on hope he had faith,... as he was about one hundred years... But because of the promise of God he did not waver in a lack of faith..."( NWTHS)
Thanks charly20 for citing that quotation.
@all hopefuls, never waver in lack of faith no matter how long it takes for NLNG to call but most especially on GOD'S promise of a righteous new world. That was Abraham's hope especially for the 'seed' that brings the greatest hope to those "rightly disposed for everlasting life" Imagine, Abraham still had hope and faith till 100 years!
GOD will certainly come to our rescue.
