The process will last for 2 weeks. The thing is that not every body will stay for 2 weeks. They start dropping people as soon as the process starts. The accommodation is wonderful for those in Zaria I dont know of Enugu. Food is also wonderful. Just pray u dont get droped.

As u get there, u will be lodged into ur hostel accommodation. The next day your credentials will be screened. Then medicals. Na there wqhala dey. If u pass that then comes the 3.2km race. Aftwr that interviw for those that qualify. If you ar a militaey personnel you should know hw to get the letter of reccommendation. For others it is not necessary. Any slight show of indicipline is usually disqualified. We will see at the camp.
@ Awedeka, thanx 4 all dis vital info. Pls d 3.2km race, what is d timing? And in all how many will be finally selected? Will there be written test and what do we xpect n d interview? Thanx as u respond asap.
@jaymz, During my own time they gave us 16mins to run round NDA. The gate is locked immediately it reaches their specified time. After the race, those qualified wil undergo physical fitness test. This test is scored according to ur performance. After the fitness test, everybody wil undergo apt. Test bcos after the race eliminatn at various stages stops. Then, after the apt test comes the final battle(oral interview)
They only select 4 4rm each state. Gudluck

i must say that contrary to my opinion, the 2weeks screening was quite easy even tho a lot were unable to meet up

@ talk 2 I heard that training will start 10th nxt month so list will be out at least a week b4 then. Were u at Kaduna or Enugu and what was ur chest number.

@ Potential cadets, It has been a long time, waiting to know our fate. I learnt some weeks back that SSC Cadets will resume shortly after the sallah break. So the list should be out before the sallah. My prayer is that we are selected and have the strength to withstand the training.

My fellow potential cadets. I am sure moral is now very low. Maybe this will heighten your moral a little bit. I got an info from one of the army chiefs that the reason for the delay is as a result of lack of funds. He said the remaining fund for the year was channeled to building an Executive Hostel at Makurdi, which is where cadets go for shooting range. He authoritatively said the list will be released on Friday, 16th of this month and cadets will start arriving from 3rd january. I hope we will be among the cadets.
