Heard of a lot of stuffs about the whole thing been very coded with almost zero transparency. I dont know how true that is sha.
Also, at what time of the year do they usually award it.

Hi peeps, I just got an invite to attend the NAE post graduate scholarship test in Lagos. Can anyone tell me what the test is like? I didnt study Engineering in school

Seeing that it's a forwarded mail disturbs me. Hweva, i didnt request for d mail to b forwarded 2 me and d email i use 4 applications is unique & known by only me. So, i dnt tink any of my frenz sent it coz dey dnt hv dat email.
Also, D GUY DAT WROTE IT LAST YR, PLS WAT DID U STUDY & WAT MSC PROGRAM DID U APPLY 4? Coz d mech, elect & civil questns are 2 specific & favorable 2 dose in dat field unless u meant GENERAL ENGINEERING QUESTIONS. I studied Chem Eng & applied 4 Msc in oil n gas eng. Won't d career questn b career specific i.e. relatd 2 ur course of study?

Also, pls wen u went 4 d test last yr, did u possess d full admission offer or d conditional admission offer letter coz d deposit fee attachd 2 d full letter limitd most of us.

I'll be rly grateful if u can provide us with answers to these questions.

The test will hold as follows:
DATE: SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 3, 2011
VENUE: NIGERIAN LAW SCHOOL, VICTORIA ISLAND, LAGOS
TIME: 10.00 AM PROMPT
You are required to come with the following:
1. Photo identification documents (Driver's License, National Identity Card or International Passport)
2. Shortlisted candidates are to provide original and photocopies of credentials including birth certificates and letter of admission for screening.
3. Writing materials (biros, pencils, erasers and sharpeners)
PLEASE NOTE:
a. Mobile phones are NOT allowed in the examination halls

Last year, prospective international and local-university scholarship applicants wrote d selection test at d same time,venue and exam hall.it's likely 2 b like dat this year too.

TEST HV BIN WRITTEN... It wasn't fun 4 me o.
Preparation didnt meet opportunity.

Skudos 2 all dose that provided us wit loads of info wrt d test... D test was actualy in d given 4mat...

Paper 1: Type
A - Engineering,
B - Geosciences,
C - Law,
D - ***


U choose d option dats appropriate 2 ur field. I did Type A - Engineering. It was mainly EEE & MEE related but a general engineerin yr 2 & 3 schemes. 50 questions. My disappoint was d entire test had less dan 5 calculations. No maths.


Paper 2: General Knowledge. Its compulsory 4 evry1.
Contains 50 questions of Verbal reasonin & current affairs.

Total Time Given was 2hrs.

Transportation Allowance varied based on state of residence. I got 7k sins I came 4rm PH while my guyz in Lag got 2k.
