kalokalo what did ur source actually say about all what i have said so far,
Is dia goin to be a second round of the excercise?
All wht i posted on this thread came frm three different person working in nnpc, all that different divsion or directorate if u like,
i will give madam above credit bcos she has collected the top management candidates names or slots for this recruitment, that frm M1,M2,M3, and M4, and absorbed them in system since july, august to avoid confusion or them tresspass near the recruitment process, but still their caused the confusion bcos their are not satisfy, anyway God has the final say, we will surely get there, and even get into a bigger company as a result of the reform
Your submission is correct.I watched the programm as well. The statement she made during the course of the budget defence is a strong indication that this recruitment process is still very much alive and that a very large percentage of hopefuls will be called.Twenty five percent increase in the payment of workforce in 2012 means that DPR and NNPC hopefuls are in for a good time.Let's just continue to pray, it is well.
Surely, the day of our salvation is closer than ever b4. May God help us thru that the list will not be aldutrated.
surely frm wht DPR director said yesterday at the budget presntation that there are hoping to recruit within the next weeks,so there is more light at the end of the tunnel now than b4, God is at work
vin20, I dont understand why you are allowing yourself to be disturbed by what people are saying. Somebody in nnpc gave you the information and you relayed it to the house. You have done no one no harm but is simply passing on what you have been told to the house for the common good of all, if the person that gave you the information is correct or not, time will tell. Stay calm.
The successful candidates in the previous exercise will first be issued appointment letters. Then a second recruitment can take place after the passage of the PIB. This is because, going by the Minister's assertion of a recruitment this year, it is not possible to start another process and employ within this year, given that no such process has been initiated. Moreover, the Ministry of Petroleum Resources cannot defend a cancellation of the current process, given the huge resources already spent on two consecutive nation-wide recruitments by NNPC.
The DPR Executive Secretary, Mr Austin Olorunshola informed the National Assembly Joint Committees on Gas and Petroleum Resources (Upstream and Downstream) that they are expecting to employ 250 workers in another two weeks. Please does anyone have info on NNPC. Thanks to PHCN, i didnt get the NNPC part. Though from what they said, all the new employments in the industry will be in the first quarter of 2012. Meaning it wont exceed april 30. GOD bless us all.
O Lord God, count me worthy in this imminent blessing of NNPC job. @All, congrats in advance. I know b4 the end of the 1st quarter of the yr which is march 31, we must have got our letas. I am hapi with the way things are. We shall all praise God at last.
Thanks for the correction, any info on nnpc?
Dia is no candidate of any top management dat has started working july or august. Who is an M4 in NNPC, an ordinary General Manager. There are close to 100 GM's in nnpc cos all ED's of subsidiaries and JV's are equivqalent to d rank of a GM. How do u expect d Minister to settle from M1 to M4? Even all of them r given a single candidate, which is of course not possible for those in d M2 and M1 category, how many candidates do u think will take up these slots?
@retired corper: with all due respect, you've almost always taken the pessimistic angle on this thread. What ill will it bring you if you, for once, just flow with the rhythm? As you think so shall it betide you. All signs point to the fact that the end is near. You sound alone in that camp. Am not saying that to reason rationally is bad now but at times we should throw caution to the winds and show just how strong our faith can be. So, be of good cheer and put in some positive willpower, and a prayer too.
Instead of fighting among ourselves, why don't we wait patiently 4 d result? Why do some people sound like they know it all or d whole is dead, while they silently pray 2 God 2 include their names in the list? Can't we just b patient and put faith in God?
Given the number of times our "reliable sources" have proved "unreliable", you really cant blame anyone for being pessimistic.. Retired corper is not the only one that is wary of this new info, believe me there are many of us out here and most are too wary to even post comments on this thread anymore!!
Our dear friend whose name is on the list as he said he was told by HIS NNPC official has hardly made any sentence without very obvious errors in phrases that I find grammatically inconvenient. One can understand the inevitability of one or two typos but a consistent error in simple grammar is very much inconvenient. At least one expects that basic communication at this level should have obvious errors at the barest minimum.
Everybody is so worried about this NNPC job thing. Its not bad to express this feeling. but while we anticipate the coming of the offer letters let us also remind ourselves that the new NNPC we are expecting, especially after the passage of the PIB is an NNPC that will have so much placed on its shoulders. If we must take NNPC through this journey it seeks to embark on we must be at our very best. every single employee of the new NNPC must be the very finest of brain and character cos the task is much and the journey is great. Any "man know man" syndrome in the employment process will only crash the new NNPC. The staggering corporation we see today is as a result of people with questionable CVs and characters that got into the system through the "man know man" syndrome. Now that NNPC appears ready for real oil and gas business in a 21st century world, it will be in the best interest of this country if they let the force of merit decide who should be in that so called list. anything less will put the future of the country's oil and gas company on a very slippery slope towards a crash down
A GT is employed on salary grade level SS6 and not SS5. What do u mean by a basic salary of 250K? Is it d monthly take homee or what? The monthly take home of a GT is not more than 150K. And mind u, there is a wide difference in salary when u cross over from the Senior Staff level dat is d SS6 to SS1 and join the Management level dat is M6 to M1. When i said who an M4 is dosnt mean am underating his salary, am jus telling u dat his powers arnt much. An M4 earns over 1.5M Naira as his monthly salary. And when u r talking of the number of years it will take to move from GT level to M4, it depends on ur luck. U might even retire without getting dia, but goin by d process, it takes u 3yrs to move across the SS levels and then four yrs to move from SS1 to M6, haven gone for Chief officer's course and passing the exams and interview, dats making a total of 19yrs to M6, then after 2yrs, u r qualified to write an exam and interview for the post of a Manager M5, anything after M5 is political, u might be promoted anytime.
What have i said? U didn't even refer to any of my comments or statements. One thing i hate in life is lies, and there is no way i can sit down and hear pple lying without responding back. Especially when i know d real truth. We r all matured here, why should some pple jus come here and waste d space in our thread by telling lies? Its not as if we dont know pple in nnpc or we dnt knw d structure and how d Corporation functions. We r jus laying low and waiting for an authentic Απϑ reliable info. I know some pple have better connection and source than me. But pls warn those liers to back off.
You guys should just forget about this recruitment. From the look of things i dont believe they are recruiting anyone. Count your losses and move on dudes.
At all, pls let us b patient n prayerful. 4 onetin dat is certain d process wil not b terminated.
Retired corper u know about nnpc well but S6 is for HND candidate, S5 is forBSC candidate, b4 july 2010, S5 candidate receives about 125k monthly, but after july 2010 bcos of the increased in salaries to civil servant by jonathan, S5 receives about 250k as monthly now, infact firemen in JS cadre receives about 90k monthly,
Come off it all of u, why fight over wot u hardly ve power over? However, did u guys heard about NILS's interview?

My people! Pls let's us not crucify this young chap and others that feed the thread with info. He only said what he heard or knew and we should anticipate no 100% truth.
My People! I've told you in the past that NNPC would want the process completed. Pls let us argue not with each other. Success is near
Guys just hold unto God for ur letter.
EH start from ss4 or ss3 depending on ur level of experience and qualification. For graduate trainee, based on the present policy, both HND and Bsc holders start from ss6 while ND start from ss7. Without furthering their education, ND holder stop at ss3, HND holder stop at ss1 while Bsc holder can move as far as M1
