A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls

It is a pity............that an organization like NNPC will recruit 595 candidates after 6 years since the last recruitment,is a fact i find difficult to beleive.i am sure many have retired and some resigned.the only logical conclusion is that NNPC has been recruiting people tru back door since the last exercise in 2006.if not,they would have been so short-staffed that 595 will be a joke.nafdac recruited more than 1500 and nnpc cannot.what a shame!!!!! Transparency and integrity my foot!!!!! People are getin employed by nnpc on daily basis.dont be suprised that many are still collectin offer letter.even as at yestaday!!!! If you tink a GM cannot help you becos of the "transparency" of the exercise,senators,governors,ministers and presidency will.If you have received yor letter witout any connection or lobbying,then God is with you.HE IS THE ONLY HOPE OF THE COMMON MAN.

The latest news i got today is that there is no second batch.

New NNPC recruitment should be out in the dailies by Monday, September 3, 2012.

I asked the "source" if the requirements will be the same with the 2010 recruitment, he simply told me to chill till then.

@Kalokalo, I give thumbs up for dis bulleting u just dropped!!!!! I could remember vividly, i said somethin similar on my post when letters started rolling out that: NNPC job you must lobby and either minister, senator, rep etc. only 5%of those contacted could have made it on merit. I know of a lady from kogi state(Ebira by tribe) that got the job through Godfatherism. May Allah+God help us in this country(Amin)

I pray atomicity wil nt kil himsef if they realease a new nnpc recruitmt on monday.Whicheva way we stil tank God 4 every thing he has done.TO GOD BE THE GLORY.

I disagree with your premise. True some people are over worked because their departments are short staffed but there are many more who do virtually nothing. A company does not recruit just like that. NNPC has a staff strength of about 10,000 which is high by any standards not minding the many contract staff. You only recruit based on business need not because others are recruiting. Do not worry NNPC will soon advertise a new recruitment round and am sure most will get in.

guys... this is not to discourage us... but i would like to advice that we should start preparing for the new recruitment that would be coming soon. the good thing about this recruitment is that those who have a second class lower degree will be given equal opportunities as those with first class degrees..
so let us channel our faith and energies on what lies ahead rather than brood over the past.
