I am not surprise @ all about what is happening. This is naija! However, I had also heard som pple being called but I refused 2 believe it becos d guy informed me, though work with npdc(benin), could giv details as 2 whic category.
A staff of NNPC, HR dept told me yesterday that almost all the GTs will be invited for training soon. That the final list of sucessful candidates will be out after the training and examination, thou everybody will be paid the training allowance which will be very reasonable. As for our letters he said b4 xmas. this is what I was told I don't want to keep it alone, don't crucify me please even if ur reliable source has it diff.
I want d whole house 2 relax. I know 4 sure they havent started calling. If they av started, we wll definitely av a witness among us. My heart is bobbling as well knowing fully if one is lucky among d celebrants its a great next level. Hwever, i just wanna make a reference 2 NLNG 2009 Trainee operator recruitment. We av nt spent 2/3 of there waiting then. I ws part of it and i know possibly there is a wthness in d house. So let calm down wh d call comes we will all b supprised just lik d guys wth d recruitment mentioned above. Dey got call wh dey had all lost hope. Dey are all enjoying nw wallowing in d pool of megga money. So relax it might even b 2morrow.
U re very correct cos dat was exactly I was told d day I was interviewed. That d training is 4 2yrs whic has a buit in exams in it, dat only dos dat meet dia set target will staff.Quote:

every training has 2 parts. Academic training & OJB ( on d job training). D academic training of nnpc is in months not yrs. In d advert last yr dey said 2.5yrs which included d OJB. Nlng/elf etc academic & ojb is about 2yrs. In ojb u are already a staf dey just want u 2 b grounded b4 asigng delicate duty 2 u.Quote:

Going by d newly posted info by Terva, so we should be expecting nnpc calling b4 25-12-2011. Be calm , as long as u are called for Grad Training for 2 years, an org such as NNPC (Govt Corp) will not dump u bcos of resources (skills & Knowledge) dat must ve been invested in u. All the best to all.
Tony, there was nothin wrong wit lawkey's question. nnpc didn't call for engineers only! This thread is under "engineering jobs" but many of the "followers" are NOT engineers.. There are doctors, accountants n other professionals here.. He asked a valid question.. Everyone's talkin abt training for GT.. Is it only engineers that'll be trained?Quote:

What worries me with all the dates banded abt is how quickly pple shift the target date as soon as we get close to them. From sept ending, to Oct beginning, etc now its b4 xmas won't be surprised if by next wk it changes to Jan and so on.
Mehn I have zeroed my mind and not focusing on any date and timeframe. Just waiting patiently to be pleasantly surprised.

I think it is prudent and wise to ignore all dates, cos nobody can say for sure wen the letters will be sent, experience on this forum has shown that dates are worthless JA said this week , the week is ended and no letters , next week is xmas nothing serious normally happens in any govt establishment during festive periods and end of year but God is never late so lets just pray for his grace and favour. Has anyone got info about our transport allowance? Of course am more interested in our letters being released. I am only concerned because I don't see how letters will be dispatched before T/Fare allowance is paid to all who qualify. So I see payment of our T/Fare allowance as being directly related to the release of our offer letters.
