Wrath of God? Lol.abeg take am easy oooo.the guy just aired his view.it is well guys.
Please guys let's take it easy. Just Believe what you believe and leave the rest for God. Have you ever asked yourself why the test invites for the new recruitment aren't out yet after almost ten months of placing the advert? Remember the advert was placed on the 3rd of sept.2012, later extended in december. This is unusual of the corporation with regards to test IV, something is definitely delaying the Test IVs. We all know this wait is killing but we must also remember that God's time is always the best. Please let's not be too emotional about the whole thing. As it stands now, all odds are still in our favour but will take patience and prayers to be delivered.
Sometimes we are de ones dat gives room for the enem... to mock us. Permutations will take us no were but is just an avenue for them to attack and mock us. Prayer/worship to God is de only ans cos.
Oh God, thank you for de gift of life, thank you for ur love, thank you for ur mercy, thank you for ur kindness, thank you for ur favour, thank you for ur grace, thank you for everything, thank you for we are sure dat our tomoro is beta than today. God u r beautiful, u r great, u r good, u r wonderful, be thou exalted in Jesus name, amen
I'm sorry my fellow hopeful for making that statement it is bcos i am just furious at the guy. @Papa-CC, the wrath of God will not be ur portion for any reason but be warned and stop discouraging people. Happy sun to u all.
@Jamfad, thanks for the maturity. May God help us all, amen.
@wasville you have said it all, may ALLAH bless you bro. I personally asked myself about the 2012 recruitment invite cause is taking longer than necessary which I think there must be a strong reason for the delay which is our 2nd batch. it is only that some people doesn't think logically, About papa-cc & co please guys lets forget about them cause they don't want it to happen and almighty ALLAH is ahead of them. With regards to 2012 recruitment also, a friend with NNPC HR confirmed to me that up to now they haven't even short list for the test, you can ask yourself why up to now after more than 9 months of the advert. Guys lets be vigilant in prayers so as to be successful @ the end which I believe is very near, Thanks.
Hello fellows, it has really been a long time, and I got some words for all of us. Having faith is excellent, but I want you all to understand that in this very life we are living in, whatever will be in this life will be no matter what.
If I start to narrate stories of events that have happened around me, including the ones around people I know, u will then understand that truly, whatever will be in this life, will be. You can also look around you, reflect on events that have happened around u, ur friends and meditate on them.
Securing job isn't always about being the most intelligent/smartest graduate applicant, it takes:
1. God's favour
2. Destiny
3. Timing
4. And in fact, grace.
I can boldly tell you that most people here still job-hunting are far better than those working in top rank companies. And it doesn't mean that all those working in top companies bribed their ways or knew somebody, but its cos they were favoured and chosen by God to be there.
See, in life, if someone is not destined to help you, there is nothing u can do. And if someone is destined to help u, they won't even know when they will help u. If they like, let them keep running away from it, but they will.
In fact, I have uncles, relatives, etc working in top companies, some as managers, HR officers, etc who are supposed to help me but none have, and God knows I am not angry with them or keeping grudges against them cos I know that only those that are destined to help me in this life will help me. They might not even be people I know, they might not even be from my family or friends. Or maybe the time for them to help me hasn't come yet. And this applies to all of us here too.
See, I have lots of friends, course-mates who got cute jobs without knowing anybody, and most of them were the dullest students we had then in school, in fact, most graduated becos of people like me. I am not bragging, God forgive me if I am ignorantly. In fact, most of the excellent students I know are still struggling to get a good job or even a job at all, whereas some of those we thought would find it difficult are in top places now.
I have this friend that decided not to apply for any job after our NYSC, saying he isn't ready to face all those job hunting, again he graduated with 2/2, so he joined Yahoo boys. Guess what?
In d process of doing Yahoo, he met a foreigner whom he wanted to defraud, but the foreigner told him that he isn't interested in the biz, that he knows about Nigerian scam, and that its because my friend doesn't have a job, that that's y he's doing scam. He told my friend that he would help him give him a job.
The foreigner happened to be a member of a family that own a top multinational firm here and he referred my friend to the company and that was how he got hired with excellent package that he never dreamed of. Can you see? Someone that went to defraud someone ended being pitied and helped?
I participated in the last NNPC recruitment, went for the interview, etc, but wasn't called at last despite the fact that I performed excellently at the interview. At least, when u fail an exam/interview u ought to know if u are a good student.
I have also reached Glo final screening, wasn't called despite the fact that I was a mentor to others that were invited for medicals.
In fact, if I tell you guys how many top rank companies that I have been to their final interview but wasn't called for medicals, you would pity and cry for me. But you don't have to pity me because I know God knows why and I know that maybe the time for me to get into those firms hasn't come or I wasn't destined to be in those firms.
Not all of us are destined to work in top rank firms like NNPC, Shell, Mobil, Chevron, NLNG, etc, not all are destined to even work for someone.
Some are destined to suffer, work hard and finally discover their route in life, and maybe own their own powerful businesses and companies that would employ people.
Some people are destined to nurture their own business/company and employ people, but if they secure a good job now, they would stop working hard or will never think of establishing their own business, and they were destined to employ others, so what will be the fate of those that they are supposed to employ in future if they secure a good job now? Of course destiny won't allow them get that glossy job that will stop them from owning their own firm.
Some are destined to work in top rank companies, some entertainers, clergy (men of God), sportsmen, etc.
Some are destined to work in low rank companies and then save up capital to establish their own businesses.
Some are destined to be entrepreneurs.
Some people might not even make it big like they dream now, but maybe at later age or maybe their children or children-children will rule this country and be in top places.
So, let's not kill ourselves. Just do your best and leave the rest for God and destiny. Stay blessed and happy Sunday.
@Jobfront, an excellent piece U wrote up there. U are very close to God because that is what brings the wisdom in ur piece. U just defined life in the simplest form and nailed it on how we should live life. May Allah bless U till eternity and may he continue to be ur guide. "Do ur best and leave the rest for God" because he even decides destiny. I'm highly motivated!!!!!!
I read his post in ssyggi's thread and i wanted to tell him to put it here.the post from jobfront is the best i have ever read on naijahotjobs.God bless you brother.
May God bless you too @: Kalokalo, Sir Luk and BS.
Meanwhile, I didn't wrote that to discourage anyone from having faith and hope in the NNPC 2010 recruitment, but then, even if there is a second batch and it finally gets released, I am sure not all of us the hopefuls would still make it to the final race of getting the job.
So in case it happens, let those that couldn't make the final list still be happy and thankful to God because it is not the end of life, more lies ahead of us.
You can find solace in this:
I once listened to Frank Nneji, the Owner/Founder/CEO of ABC Transport Plc, the foremost transport/logistics/courier/haulage company in Nigeria talk about his beginning.
He studied Zoology from UNN, and graduated in 1983. According to him, when he graduated, there were jobs, good jobs, and some of his friends and mates rushed and took up jobs, but he decided to run his own business of selling school black boards, and supplying to schools, including higher institutions.
He said he started with either 80naira or so they were given after NYSC as bicycle allowance.
To cut the story short, he said that people mocked him, even advised him to go get a job and acquire experience, but he believed in himself.
Today, he worth billions of naira and one of the highest employers of labour in Nigeria. His company is now listed on Nigeria Stock Exchange, and I learnt he also own several other personal businesses, both in the hospitality industry.
What would have happened if he did went for an already made job like most of his friends and colleagues who are now retired with less compared to what he has?
What would have been the fate of the thousand graduates employed today by ABC Transport Plc and other of his businesses?
Pls let's all be thankful, grateful, patient and hardworking even when our dreams fail not to materialise when we wish. No one knows future, only God does.
Once again, stay blessed.
@BS, here is my email: [email protected]. Thanks for your concern.
Oh My God! @ Jobfront am encouraged by ur post. Just a Coincidence, yesterday was a hell 4 me when I was evaluating my tireness job hunt in last six years. It was as if world should crumble. I could nt eat nor sleep after another test from UI as usual. Reading ur post, I was really torched , encouraged and blessed. Never mind our time has come, very soon we shall av a testimony.@ kalokalo my landlord on this thread and my brother fr state of Osun, it is well. We shall all laugh @last. Kalokalo pls send that material to jobfront.
Ykokuns, once again, thank you, I can't express how I feel too, and I thank God for putting the right words in my heart to write here.
You're not alone, and don't let your present predicament weigh you down; pls keep working hard, keep praying, keep doing good, keep encouraging others, keep researching/reading, keep applying for jobs and don't turn down job offers cos of the low salary, just take it up and start to break the jinx and fear of being jobless for long.
Most people we envy today started horribly, some with peanut salary, so don't be afraid to take up low salary jobs that would help you gain experience.
And if you can, startup your own little business based on the needs in your environment and forget shame, shyness or looking at girls- they will appreciate you when you finally make it, so don't be shy to start.
God has plans for each and everyone of us. Who knows when President Jonathan's mother was a young girl, maybe her mates and friends were getting married to top military men and rich guys and she ended up marrying Goodluck's father; a local canoe maker, but today, she is the mother of Nigerian president. Can she be compared to her mates then who maybe married rich men? So life has something good for everyone of us if we are patient and good enough to see, believe and wait.
Once again, I thank God for keeping us alive to witness this very day and days to come, and I strongly believe He will see us all through our darkest days.
Thank you all for the commendations, I feel like a president now, stay abundantly blessed.
Thks my guy, jobfront. It is well. I hope u av received d mat 4rm kalokalo. Let me know. I want to go back to my shell. I do post when necessary.
Yes, I did received it. Thanks to you and Kalokalo. I really appreciate. Thank you.

God is able to do just what He says He will do. Dont give up, He is never late. At the end, we will have all reasons to give God praise for this delay. Peace
The house is so scanty and silent, I believe no update yet from our GENERAL TERRACO, and also have feelings IN SHA ALLAH it will end soon in our favour. Guys let's continue praying and be patience.
Silence is better than fake prophecies or permutations

My colleagues, let me share a testimony. By God's grace our success will not be delay in life and all the years that seem to have wasted, God will restore it, amen.
There was a guy who hunt for job for almost 9yrs and seems it has come to an end in his life. He prayed, fast and trust in God for a change. One beautiful day, he got a call from chevron that he applied for a job placement few yrs back and was scheduled for interview. To cut the story short, he was offer a job in higher position with a mouth watering salary of N750k per month.
Delay is not a deny but an experience for greater heights.
After thomas edisson failed 999 times, the next step was success which led to invention of bulb. He was asked how eventually did he made the project successful, his answer was I discover 999 ways of solving the problem.
Things may seem difficult now but when that golden opportunity comes, it will clean all the moments of frustration.
this nkechi u will not kill me. lol
I place my hand in YOUR hands O LORD.......x3
I shall not fail for Jesus never failed.
it may tarry but it must surely come to past
TESTIMONY!!!
