@all: Please try & relax, so that you dont get high BP for nothing. There is nothing on ground up till now. So just relax & rest. Many more may give up as it stands now. So better be ready to wait. The important thing is that IT MUST COME. Take a break & rest. I'm informed that until this batch comes out, there wont be any Aptitude Test. So enjoy the waiting while it lasts. Cheers

PoorBest http://www.ngrguardiannews.com/plugi...share-long.gifACTIVISTS and students have mobilised over 500 Nigerians to put pressure on the Senate to pass the Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB).
The rally, which holds in Abuja today, will coincide with the Upper House debate on the planned law today.
The rally will be held in the front of the National Assembly complex, as members have resolved to sit at the complex as the Senate considers the document.
Last Tuesday, the Senate deferred action on the bill when some members pointed out technical issues. It agreed to list the bill for consideration today.
The PIB seeks to further open up the Nigerian petroleum industry for more investments by reviewing subsisting terms drafted over 40 years
ago. It is designed to bring about transparency, public accountability and equity with regards to ownership and derivation.
Co-ordinators of the coalition, David Ugolor and Abiola Afolabi, told journalists in Lagos yesterday that the delay in passing the bill was costing Nigeria billions of the dollars due to corruption, lack of transparency and accountability with the current fiscal regime in the industry.
The Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Deziani Alison-Madueke, had said Nigeria would generate over $680 billion yearly if the bill was passed and implemented.
Ugolor said the protest was planned to put pressure on the National Assembly to accelerate action on the bill.
He asked President Goodluck Jonathan to co-operate with the Legislature to ensure the passage of the bill before the end of his current tenure, adding that the President had not shown enough commitment to the passage of the bill.
They accused the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) of sabotaging efforts at passing the bill for selfish interest, saying: “This is a clarion call on the Presidency, National Assembly and both local and international oil companies to support the quick passage of the bill and ignore the antics of the NNPC, which has been working against the planned law and has delayed the process for too long in their selfish interest.”

Southern Senators rally support for PIB
POSTED ON FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 15TH, 2013
By Sola Shittu, Snr Correspondent, Abuja
Senators from the southern part of the country have embarked on a move to save the beleaguered Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB) in the National Assembly.
Daily Independent findings revealed that the Senators have decided to engage the services of consultants who will educate them on the technical aspects of the bill.
Although their counterparts from the North are kicking against it, a source said Senators from the South are insisting that the bill has no sectional agenda.
“We want consultants to come and brief us on the technical areas of the bill. There are so many parts that needed interpretation and we cannot do this by ourselves; so we are inviting experts to do it for us.”
Another source also disclosed that apart from the PIB, the issue of constitution review and 2013 budget is concentrating the minds of the Senators.
Daily Independent also gathered that the Southern Senators have resolved to trash out any contentious clause in the PIB with their Northern colleagues to ensure speedy passage.
“The Senators are keen on passing the bill; all of us have since received copies and I believe that by now virtually everybody must have gone through it,” the source said.
The PIB failed to scale through in the sixth National Assembly due to what members called multiplicity of versions. Various attempts to harmonise the versions failed.
Although the bill was already at the Second Reading stage in the House of Representatives, it could not be completed before the 2011 elections.
Consequently, the PIB was returned to the Presidency for re-presentation to the seventh National Assembly.
The PIB is to deal with the critical sectors of the petroleum industry and provide a guideline for using proceeds from the industry to develop other sectors of the economy.
Southern Senators have met twice this week in the Senate with the PIB topping the agenda. The Source: The Daily Independent. Friday, February, 15, 2013.

This thread has come to the point where the faithful ones should start dancing because it a time like this that God shows up when all hope is lost, when even those with faith becomes faithless, when logic becomes irrational and the wait becomes too long. Ask Daniel in the lion's den and after his 21 days of fasting and prayers did God not show up even though his prayers has been answered from the first day of his fasting. I tell all you that are faithfully waiting for the second batch that it shall SURELY COME, Why? because Our names has been shortlisted and sealed even before the first batch came out. THE ABSOLUTELY FAITHFUL GOD IS TOO FAITHFUL TO FAIL, please wait and see with your faith eyes. My regards to all.
Remain Blessed.

@ALL, I HAD NO INTENTION OF MAKING THIS POST BUT HAD TO BECAUSE I JUST LOGGED ON TO THE FORUM SOON AFTER GETTING HOME FROM THE HOSPITAL AND FOUND OUT THAT MY HEALTH CONDITION WAS MADE KNOWN TO THE FORUMITES BY MY BIG BRO. LET ME SAY THAT I HAVE NO IOTA OF RESERVATION FOR WHAT MY BRO TERRACOII DID FOR HIS GOOD INTENTIONS OF HAVING MORE PRAYERS MADE ON MY BEHALF. I ALSO WANT TO SAY THAT HE TOLD YOU EXACTLY WHAT THE SITUATION WAS WITH ME AND NEVER 'COOKED IT UP' AS SOME INSINUATED; HE IS TOO A REAL MAN OF INTEGRITY AND HONESTY FOR SUCH. AND FROM THE DEEPEST PART OF MY HEART, I SAY BIG BIG BIG TNX TO YOU ALL FOR YOUR PRAYERS WHICH I BELIEVE WERE VITAL TO MY SURVIVAL IN WHICH BOTH THE Drs AND NURSES ATTESTED TO. THIS SECOND TIME IT HAD HAPPENED TO ME AND SECOND TIME YOU PROVED TO ME A RELIABLE, CARING AND TRUE FRIENDS; YOU SHALL NOT LOSE YOUR REWARDS. PLS THE PMs WERE JUST TOO MUCH FOR ME TO REPLY ALL BUT THEN, ALL YOUR EFFORTS ARE WELL APPRECIATED. THIS WAITING SHALL END WELL FOR ALL. ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU SO MUCH.
@ucpraise; Welcome back my guy. This next phase will end it all, amen.
