gee gee might be correct bcos what I also heard was dat high politics is trailing d exercise but merit must still be there no matter how small.I strongly bliv dat d exercise will not be cancelled otherwise NNPC will be challenged bcos it is national jobs. HAPPY NEW MONTH

The process will be concluded when the successful applicants get their appointment letters, not when the letters are sitting in towers.

I see this happening soon in this country...the youths taking what belongs to them by force...Enough is enough for the few people in power sharing the nation's wealth and jobs among their relatives...I remember some people coming with slippers and cap to the NNPC interview while someone like me(and you) had to go as far as buying a new suit...I remember waking up as early as 4am so as to get to the park early(going from Lag to F.C.T)...Aba! NNPC, Will you ever become a world class oil and gs company? Hmmnnnn, well if not that the top executives also have meats in their mouth, they should insisit on free and fair recruitment...The more the delay, the more they input their candidates names...How log shall we fold our arms, how long shall we sleep and get scared of waking up because we don't know where the next meal is coming from...How long shall we as graduate walk on the street with our heads low...How long shall people look at you in the eyes and say you call yourself a graduate, yet you cannot fend for yourself...When will a 30 year old graduate stop collecting money from his parents...I think about revolting everyday...I hate this people...I want to see someone beaten...I want to see them running in their agbada...I write with anger and passion for a revolution...I can hear someone saying it will soon be over...When, I say when, ooooh...maybe year 2020...God forbid, If by 2012 there is no substantial improvement, then GOODLUCK should be ready fo a revolution...I know am not the only one in this state...If you care to know, i have once worked in a financial institution (as a contract staff), it was an advaced slavery in disguise...I resigned, I know what i want...I want job for all...Enough of we serving the Nation by force and after completion, you are on the street without direction...We all have dreams, aspirations and goals...Do you remember when you were in secondary school, what your thoughts of how you will achieve great things keep ringing in your heart...Tell me, have been able to achieve that...Yes, am ready to join the team that will revolt if need be. Leaders be warned, the youths are coming at you.

a lot of youth are angry and wants to revolt but who will champion it... at times i just conclude that Nigerian youths are cowards...we know how to pretend and abuse the government at their back but facing them will be a different issue. What will it take us if we have a peaceful protest in front of NNPC towers or in front of the senate chamber, get the media to cover the protest, carry placards and telling them how agrieved we are. money and jobs only gets to those in the metric circle. we just have to do something if we must move forward as one Nigeria

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls

Please, and please brethren, lets not jump the gun here. There is still enough time to make meaningful conclusions about the recruitment. Perhaps, December should pass, while we await the outcome of our counterparts in DPR. One thing you should know is that our politicians are pushed around by our fellow job seekers who by themselves are not competitive enough and are mediocres afraid of losing out completely. Let me also sound it clearly that if the trumpet sound of revolution is sounded, more than one million youths will be ready to bet their blood and throng the city with heroic display. As per cancellation, pls zero your mind about that. It will be too bad for NNPC to try cancelling a national recruitment exam for a second time consecutively. We have avenues where we may take our fight to in order to seek redress. Many guys like my humble self, was part of the ill fated exercise in 2008. My brethren, I know some helpless candidates who could not make it to the second stage because they had ghastly motor accident on their way to the test venue and died. For how long or how many times NNPC will call us out only to be slaughtered? This country belongs to us all. Any attempt….. Or attempted attempt….. revolution looms. I rest my case!

Once again,i feel greatly mirepresented.i didnt say the process WOULD be cancelled.be assured that the process is heading towards completion.everything is set, just like the 2008 process.however, there are elements who take pride in controlling the process, and both pcl and the minister did not put them in consideration, and they are spoiling for a fight, just like in the 2008 edition.the process needs our prayers and direct confrontation of the cabal via my ealier post.it would definitely embolden the minster the more to do what is right.if anyone says it cant be cancelled at this stage,i laugh because the 2008 edition had even surpassed this stage when the vultures struck, and NOTHING HAPPENED,under a radical obj administration.how much more a GEJ.lets pray, pls.
