@ reubenosky, seems like ur commander uncle no wan help u enter NDLEA make he for dey chop alone.
Possibly, he doen't have 1,500 to give u.
@all, PLEASE and PLEASE....because it was published in any of the dailies doesnt make it authentic. So lets try and do our homework to find out whether this thing is for real :-\. Honestly, its like all federal government agencies want to make fortunes from unemployed Nigerians by extorting monies out of them, and the more we comply and allow them get away with this unjust act, believe me, the more it will continue and at some point, get out of hand. >:(
Some of us think 1500 is small money to pay abi? Well I do say, very soon we will be paying through our noses. The earlier we decry this injustice the better for ALL of us!!
FOOD FOR THOUGHT!!!
Cheers.
@smartd1st,well it's left for government to act fast on this issue, bcos it's becoming unbearable, and if they are still acting as if they are not aware of it,law of camma is coming on them very soon.
This is rather unfortunate. If it was an unknown company demanding for money this way, many of us would have been shouting scam.........
Many would have started calling EFCC and other members to petition our president.
My heart bleeds seeing great users of this house encouraging the moneyless jobseekers to go and apply instead of instead of advising non to apply and device a suitable means to report to relevant authority.
Pls. We are no longerfit to call others scam.
The earlier announced NDLEA recruitment by kenny is real and not a scam. The 1500 naira been demanded is indeed a bad development which most government agencies are now adopting. Am sure government itself will start complaining when organised private sectors start demanding money for recruitment.
This is not going to help Nigeria, imagine how many jobless people who will apply for that job and then multiply by 1500, and yet the money is not accounted for in anyway, don't forget that this money may be increasing as time goes on.
I think it's time we let the National Assembly know about this officially and hope that one day justice will be done.
If you feel the same way then send a petition to [email protected] or visit www.nassnig.org
let's do this for ourselves and for those coming after us.
even if na real,
for the sake of N1500, it is obviously a scamming format.
We should report this to our National Assembly or any other relevant Authority
@house, many of us are not new in jobseeking,
applying will not assured shortlisting,
shortlisting will not guarantee passing test & interview
even if one passes there is always PDP in Govt recruitment Process.
As for me, If dem giv me N5,000 as a motivation to apply, I go do otherwise.
NDLEA no be oil-company
why on this board?
MODERATORS is non Oil and Gas permitted here?
Hey Guys,
This is real. The ad was in guardian newspaper 17/8/10. Check it out. Also, the ndlearecruitment.org website is real. You need to wait for 12hours after buying your pin card to get on the website. Make sure you use your name as payee on the deposit slip at the bank!
Just keep hope alive!

Besides, his uncle might have lesser qualifications which might place "reubenosky" above him. Hence, the urgent need to discourage him by all means.Quote:

Look at d calibre of banks involved, dont u think 1 of them wud made a cal by now? Anyway, I stil maintain: I am distappointed.
@chyke4real.......
thanks for the link for submitting our petitions, at least it will help us air our grieviance over this nonsense that has become the order of the day with recruitment in federal agencies.
@all......follow your heart.
Cheers

@rodeo-xavier,@obynzosmartdisk and co
There is no need for you guys to be skeptical about the authenticity of the advert:it is not a scam but real.In fact ,the advert occupies the whole page(page 3 to be precise) of today's edition of Complete Sports. The job is in tree categories (A) Superintendent Cadre,(B) Narcotic Agent and (C) Assistant Cadre. It closes on October 8,2010.I think those who are in doubt should be convinced with those pieces of information.
Now, what pisses me off is the new trend of things in most of the Federal Government establishments where eligible Nigerian job applicants will need to pay before having access to apply for job openings. It is not peculiar to NDLEA alone, other Government parastatals like The Nigerian Navy,Army e.t.c do similar thing. It could be so disgusting to see this happens because only some selected few will be considered at the end of the day. Then, the question is,"what happens to the accrued sum of money realized after what?" This country ,indeed ,needs a whole lots of overhauling in all facets.
@all please let us pray for this country of ours, just imagine for four days nw,i just been able to submit my form for this vacancy na wa o!, an advice to all that is would applying for this job opening in Ndlea, after puchasing ur confirmation/Access frm any of under listed bank ,just go NDLEA official time on their postal and notice one thing, its there time that u would use to count your 12hrs not nigerian normal time o! ,just take to my advice so u would nt waste money going to cafe like i did before nw that i am able to submit my form ,good luck o!
@hotboyy, my broda, tnx 4d info, pls expatiate on wot u mean by NDLEA official time as at d 12hour nigerian time.I dont understand, pls do reply cus am abt buying d code.Tnx
I used the nigerian time and it worked for me. Got my card yesterday by 9am and i applied 9pm in the night.
I saw the advert on NTA , Whosoever, care for the post should go for it. :)
I dont think the issue here is that of scam or not, more views have favored the latter especially the numbers of publications.
my stake is for all to openly oppose this method of application fee.
I did not see that of the Nigerian Army and Navy but I saw DPR and other Govt agencies.
from my personal understanding of the Nigerian Army (pls correct if i dey wrong), it is a training program and I bliv NDLEA is direct employment.
To all those that have applied, I pray U find fulfillment n satisfaction at the end. may God grant U your heart desire.
i am very confuse about the whole thing, don, tknow which one to believe.
truely Ndlea has started their recruitment execise ooooooohh.but to access the site or portal is the problem ooooooh.pls is there anyone that konws the names of the partipating banks?pls write back
thanks
@Michael Oparah,my broda, what i meant by NDLEA time is that, after submiting my form yesterday by 9:00pm,i notice the time on my Slip and NDLEA postal which is 15:00pm,that is why i say u should notice it too,and make sure u use of a good internet service ,it matter's a lot o! or else for one week u still be trying to submit your form, good luck..
Which ever way you look out it, it is obviously bad for them to ask for #1500 before you can apply. What is the money for?Federal govt. that should be looking for a way to alleviate poverty is also adding to it.Who and who will eat this money?Do you know how many applicants in Nigeria that will apply for this? Well this is extortion no matter what. If fed. Govt. is doing this, what then do they expect private establishments to do?
DRAMA! DRAMA! DRAMA! Everybody is desperate.job seekers desperate and job givers desperate.the site myt look fake but one thing worthy of note is dat almost all govt agencies website looks fake.Me,I have no business atall wiv NDLEA. If u have d money,do as they say.One day,the 'bushmeat' 'll catch d hunter. Goodluck applicants
when is the deadline?
@all, the deadline is 4th of October...
Pls, can somebody tell me what the requirements are as regards qualifications, specific courses, age etc?
@Adebamidele,go check on the recruitment site, www.ndlearecruitment.org
Guys it is as real as your name. Just did mine and adverts are everywhere on this in newspaper and NTA, get your info well b4 jumping into conclusion like blind applicants. Best of luck for those that will apply.
Why do people find it hard to believe wats geniune and easily fall for dubious things.. even this ad is on the homepage of this site naijahotjobs, its even pasted evrywhere in lagos, its on tv, newsspaper. Wat other evidence do u still want? Has this guy done something bad by pasting this advert here?
