If you want to see if you are doing it well try speak to your speech to text software and see if it can catch the words as you pronounce them..

certificates asked for are O'level certificate,Degree certificate,Nysc discharge,i.d either international passport or drivers licence,admission letter,guarantor letter,local govt identification.they will take the photocopy and attach your 2 passports to it.with a form you will be given to fill your registration number.well if u cant remember it dont worry they have it there with them just ask when your time for accreditation reaches.
As for the conditional offer they are just curious if u have d admission or not u know some u.k schools ask you to pay 3k pounds etc and some schools like mine says you have to send two referees which must be lecturers(doctors) in your department,passport number etc before they give you a unconditional offer letter and issue you your TAS number for visa application.so relax all you have to do is to be able to convince them that you have it simple.

Thanks a lot for the clarification. Concerning the Guarantor's letter, can a Civil Servant write it or does it have to be someone highly placed, like the LGA Chairman?

Thanks very much for this it was really helpful to me. My only worry is I didn't school in the Country and have no NYSC so am hoping they will be able to take this as an excuse. God help me. Thanks all the same brother.

I guess so, but I think it's still important to have it, since some people were also asked about the course they want to study. Writing the methodology should help you answer questions about what you want to study concisely.

He listed the Certificates and not the entire documents.

Just make sure you have your ceriticates, the letter from your guarantor, your admission letter (unconditional is better, though most people have conditional offers),LG Identification, letter of invitation (displaying your the sms sent to your phone will suffice), id card (preferebly drivers' license or int'l passport), and 2 passport photographs (with your name written behind them). The methodology thingy aint needed, and instead of you to spend time drafting it out I'd advice you spend the time knowing your course. Also, know about your state, cuz they can ask you any question that comes to their mind about your state, for example, I was asked "so, why do the people of your state feel that your state governor is not performing?", "what political party do you belong to?" (you had better be neutral to politics before you speak against the party of one of the interviewers). Also I was asked about my school fees, try to know it.

In all, I think what they look out for, asides your academic qualification which they know based on your credentials submitted, are things like your composure, your diction and grammar, and your dressing (I was specifically complimented by one of them on dressing, and that might just be a strong point).

Yes he can but to stand a chance I will say get it from someone highly influential who isn't related to you. It's suppose to sort of Guarantee they know you and trust you to be of good behavior whilst under the NDDC scholarship.

If i couldnt attend the interview on the day i was scheduled for, can i do it any other day? how do i go about it?

Mehn please don't try that. The competition is way too high for you to even have the chance for that please. I beg you please attend your interview when it was fixed. Mine clashes with something important too but there is nothing I can do. I have already come far on this and have to complete it. I believe God to stand by me till the end.

My NDDC scholarship interview yesterday was very simple. The questions were (1)why did u choose dis course? (2) Tell me about d course. I haven't received my admission letter yet, but I submitted one yesterday and I was cleared immediately. NYSC and admission letter were checked yesterday. 10k transport fare was finally given to those that were interviewed. I got there by 8:30am and I finished by 5pm, though upto 30 candidates were still waiting for their interview when I completed mine.

Guys I don't really understand this NDDC oral interview. I think it is an opportunity to scheme some people out and bring in their own candidates. Lets me ask, what is the essence of this oral interview? Why are the pattern different and the questions and requirements different for different days? Why was the cut off mark brought so low?

That was why initially I said if they just concluded the scholarship with the test, most of their candidates would not have made it. But now there is an opportunity for them to get the scholarship. So for those that feel they performed well, don't think that your performance will get you the scholarship. It will be only by God's grace or man know man.

When will the list of beneficiaries be published?

I think even if there is politics involved some percentage of it will be awarded to people on merit. I think the scores will be taken in to the consideration in making the final decision.

Guys who knows or has an idea when the list will be published? Is it really necessary for one to attend the induction ceremony, or they will contact the school and make necessary payments while you move, because there little time left for visa application and travel, cos most school will resume first week of September.


I pray it comes out immediately after the interviews, at least first week of August.

Sorry to say this house, but it has to be said, some of us r already talking about nddc favouring dia candidates. Corruption lies not only with NDDC but even with more than half of the candidates. The criteria was all spelt out at d beginning, how many candidates had admissions as at application time n how many uploaded a truthful admission letter, how many came with forged admission letters and guarantor letters, many took advantage of the fact dat NDDC does not scrutinize well to be corrupt. But then wen NDDC decides to play dia own card after u have played many of urs, u then call dem corrupt...........all said lets keep our fingers crossed

I dont know what class of degree you came out with, but lets assume its 2:1. Now how will you fee if all your ideal companies decides to give jobs only to those with 1st class 'based on their performance'? my point is that such decisions cant and shldnt be made based on only one criteria. As wiseguy4reel said, scores may well be factored in during the final decision, but so should class of degree, quality of guarantor, relevance of course to NDDC etc(thats for those to be considered on merit. The 'others' just need to know the right people) ..hahahaha
