MACHINIST JOB DESCRIPTION

Department: Production
Job Title: Machinist/Machine operator
Reports to: Production Supervisor The Company: Tranos designs, manufactures and installs complex mechanical, electrical and
process systems for heavy industrial and high technology clients.

Business Objective: To operate production equipments and ensure outputs meet quality and safety standards. Core Working Relationships: Production supervisor, production manager, production personnel
Accountabilities (Responsibilities)
? Using assigned machines and equipments to produce quality parts.
? Operation of various automatic and semi-automatic machines like CNC Press brake, CNC Plasma cutter, Spot welder, welding robots, CNC Punch press, Insertion tools and laser cutter.
? Ensuring the proper operation and maintenance of these equipments.
? Upholding professional and safe work practices.
? Keep a maintenance record.
Requirements ? A good OND/HND/B.eng in Mechanical or electrical Engineering from a reputable institution.
? Minimum of 1 year experience in similar role.
? Good communication and interpersonal skills.
? Knowledge in machine operation
? Proactive (ability to think and take initiative) and must have problem solving skills.
? Ability to work under pressure.

? Good analytical thinking skills.

? Must be dedicated and responsible.
