Job Title: Laboratory Attendant I

Job Descriptions

• Assist in general cleaning of laboratory and screen house.
• Clean and arrange tips, glass, and plastics wares in the laboratory.
• Operate and maintain autoclaving equipments.
• Perform all other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualification & Experience

• WASC plus at least one (1) year relevant experience.

Skills & Abilities

• Be able to follow instructions and work independently where necessary.
• Be able to use laboratory equipments and understand basic laboratory techniques.

Job Title: Driver / Supply Assistant
Job Location: Oyo

Job Description
Successful candidate will among other things perform the following duties:

• Drive Supply Chain vehicles within and outside Ibadan to transport deliveries and collections of materials and supplies during out of hours, weekends and or public holidays as required. Liaise with FMS Workshop to ensure prompt routine vehicles maintenance checks and servicing of all Supply Chain vehicles as at when due.
• Cleaning of Supply Chain Vehicles and ensures tools, spare wheel, medical box etc are available.
• Record all vehicle journeys in the vehicle logbook.
• Ensure safety of vehicle and goods at all times.
• Filing of Request for Purchase and Purchase orders analysis sheets.
• Assist in impress purchase.
• Assist in posting of bids/bid results on notice boards, collation and analysis.
• Assist in the maintenance of price database.
• Perform routine order progressing.
• Keep and update registers of Suppliers visited either individually or in company of a Procurement officer.
• Perform any other function as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Minimum Qualification & Experience

• OND in Statistics or related field with a valid professional drivers' license (Class 'E') plus at least five (5) years corporate driving.

• Be conversant with Nigerian roads.
• Posses ability to drive long distance with good eye sight.

Job Title: Research Technician III
Job Location: Oyo

Job Descriptions

• Operate all equipment in ILRI Cassava Peels processing factory.
• Actively ensure that the cassava processing unit is orderly - all equipment, tools and products are in their proper places and that the highest sanitary standards for food processing are maintained at all times.
• Support research work at the ILRI farm (maintaining animals and assisting in conducting animal experiments, supervise tasks allotted to animal attendant/casuals) as instructed by the scientist in charge.
• Undertake routine health measures for the animals as directed by the scientist in charge.
• Collect, enter and analyze data.
• Drive vehicle to cassava processing sites to pack cassava peels and assist in processing the peels.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualification & Experience

• OND in Animal Science, Animal Health or closely related field with Five (5) years relevant experience

• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Ability to speak more than one Nigerian language.

Job Descriptions

• Clean ILRI cassava peels process factory.
• Clean ILRI office when necessary.
• Maintain ILRI lawn and premises.
• Maintain ornamental plants and flowers.
• Assist in packing cassava peels from sites to factory.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualification & Experience

• WASC plus at least two (2) years’ experience in general corporate cleaning.
