Engineers (Mining) to work on the mining site
Requirements;
1. Computer literate
2. HND / BSc. in Engineering
3. Minimum of 3years Cognate Experience (Nigerian Mining Industry)
4. Age limit; 35 years
5. Experience in quarry works will be an advantage
Job Description
- Mine design, planning and development in conjunction with the Geologists.
- Knowledge about the processing of Mining and Quarry Licenses.
- Mineral exploitation and preparation of the minerals for processing.
- Computation of mineral viability and valuation of mine equipment.
- Calculation of stripping ratio.
- Determination of applicable Mining System based on nature of the deposit and economic advantages.
- Co-ordination of operators involved in mines operation.
- Monitoring of mines and mining activities using computer, the appropriate software’s and the regular production of maps used in the field for production.
- Other related jobs.
