I did Asset management and it was ok....Though a lot of the questions in that section tilted towards CIVIL ENGINEERING.
I did HSE. I am hoping for the best. But the general knowledge part was really something that least expect. Imagine philosophy, ontology, epistemology, e.t.c.
God will help us.
I did basin evolution and dynamics, it was good and the general knowledge part was a bonus for me, hoping for the best n wishin everyone too God's best.See u at d top.
Well I applied for energy system engineering and I opted for same option in the part two questions..however I Enjoyed it..peeps that went for energy system engineering..how was it?

I don't really know if writing late is a blessing but i know of Luke1:37, for with God nothing shall be impossible. Lord Jesus take charge, only you can make this year PTDF my year, I trust in you!!!
The PTDF exam was ok. As for me I did Env. Engr;which was straight forward. though the G.Knowledge not funny quite easy but unexpected. Those that wrote late might do better becos they practically got the Expo for the G.K..................bUT WHAT GOD SAY WILL BE MUST BE...............MEET ME ABROAD DIS YEAR AS I RUN MY MASTER
BEST OF LUCK
List may b out b4 d end of d week
As regards the PTDF OSS Aptitude Test Outcome, I heard from one of the test facilitators that all the results of the test were ready as at the closure of the test that same day. He said its only left to PTDF Management to decide on what to do on their final selections based on the test results. I'm thinking PTDF should be shortlisting the successful candidates before the end of the month of March.
From PTDF related matter discussed in one of the National Dailies sometimes last week, 250 candidates were to be shortlisted/selected for the scholarship award from about 7000 candidates that sat for the aptitude test. 4 candidates were to be selected from each state of the Federation while the Niger-Delta States were to enjoy additional slots (say 3 or 4candidates). Some other candidates would be sent to the Nigeria Upgraded Universities. Female candidates should as well be optimistic as their is always a preference for the best female candidate in a state.
Regarding the -ve markings issue, I could observe from the test questions that some of the questions from both parts (i.e the General and Field-Specific) did not have answer. This has made me to conclude that the test would definately have -ve markings. It would just be the game of how many correct answers against wrong ones. So there would be no room for unhealthy guessing. I believe that was the reason why some of the questions were technical and termed "simple" by people. Although the idea of conducting tests in batches might not be a good one as some people would already get a foreknowledge of questions and answers before taking the tests during their individual batches. I think PTDF should check this.Let us wait and see the outcome. It is not over until it is over. God is bringing in our miraculous scholarship. For all that have been anxious or overconfident, remember Eccl 9:11 (....race is not to the swift nor the battle to the strong....). However, lets pray for a favourable outcome. God bless you all as you make meaningful contributions.
May the Good Lord continually bless u 4 this 1daful piece. I can vividly remember that there was no answer to a particular question that ask d year Nigeria Became a Federal Republic. God will perfect that which he has started
There was an answer to the question you are talking about which is 1963. Nigeria had its independence in 1960, but first became a republic in 1963.
Just for the records you know!
We don't av to start arguing so as not to divert d issue at hand, bt I cud vividly remember 1963 was not in the options.God help us all. See u at d top Guys
Well, I thought I saw 1963 in mine. maybe the variants had answers in some and vice versa. I am sorry if I sounded not too good, really meant to hurt no body. Goodluck guyz.
I did the subsea Engineering option....
^^^ Woody, How was ur Subsea option? I heard is was basic physics. I wish I did that. I sat for Design of Rotating Machines. I swear that was the most difficult option.
Guys please listen to the ptdf half hour on FRCN today by 12:30pm and relate the outcome to d house. U can ask questions as regards when the result would be released. Am on road presently.
@Phoneline: What you heard is true, but above all, its by God's grace. Best of Luck Man!
who listened to the update today.the oss desk officer when speaking today on the program-me said they are picking three from each state and extra one for the naijadelta states.he also said consideration will be made for those who did their chosen options from the onset but i couldn't confirm if he said those dat didnt chose their original courses for the test would be confirmed.pls who else listened to the program-me ooh.i need clarification on this .
wont be considered i mean not would be conirmed
Maybe it means ppl dat didn't choose dia related 1st degree courses
Why did I even write this exam sef. PTDF keeps reducing the number of their scholar. yet they sponsor a lot more of candidates from the north who didnt even register for the exams. Just 3 from each state. When Rivers state and Delta state sponsor more than 40 oversea abroad. Yet tens of thousands paid N1000 to get registered even. I am so angry!
@phoneline courage!, Trust God, I can see our names on that list bro. I am of the opinion that with God all things are possible, even if na only one person from each state, all things are possible. May God help us all.
@ Theo_magic. Its not just about me. Even if I got it, what about others. Do u know how much distance people travel to write that exam? The number is not just fair for a federal government sponsorship. They should stop it if they are so selfish! How would any sane federal govt organisation put his own citizen thru this stress.
Just imagine them saying they won't consider people who do not seat for their choosen option when not all options were there. Was fluid Mechanics there? No! Even their staff told people to take any option. They are so unorganised!
I heard is because they phasing out the OSS programme thats y they are reducing the number of scholars, i totally agree with u. If states like Delta and Rivers can sponsor so many of their indigenes, then we expect more from a FG. May God help us in this country!!!
This country sucks.they should better look at the second and third choices also because that's the essence of th application itself i.e to have different choices to choose from on the test day.make dem nor play wit our heads ooh.
Pls wen is the result coming out? We can't wait!!!
From d record of past 2yrs,d result wil b out outmost 1month frm d exam date.So by end of dis month all d tension wil b over.Baba God tank u 4d favour u gave 2me dat day.
The result is actually out!
