Job Title: Head of Regulatory and Compliance:

Job Location: Rivers

Job Objectives:

• To create and sustain effective relationships between the client organisation and the Government.
• To participate in policy formulation and implementation within the Client organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, direct, or coordinate technical and marketing activities of the company to ensure compliance with regulations and standard operating procedures.
• Offering advice about company policies, practices and systems
• Act as a link between the company and regulatory authorities (NERC), ensuring that customers are adequately metered and billed with the proper tariff in compliance with appropriate legislation.
• Regularly monitor changes in regulations, if any, and analyse implications on business operations.
• Collaborate with marketing and technical team to file for renewals or resolve regulatory issues.
• Guide team on process/product adherence to regulatory standards and advice to file for approvals to drive compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Ensuring compliance with NERC regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in legal, Marketing or technical field
• An advanced degree, most often in a legal, Marketing or technical field.
• 10 year experience, 5 years management experience in similar roles.
• Broad technical, legal and business knowledge.
