GaslandNigplc has been in existence since 2000 in Lagos and Port Harcourt and it has grown into an important supplier of LP gas products and equipment with the required engineering and transportation solutions.
We have served customers from industrial clients to the end users in the provision of LPG tanks, mobile gas tanks, storage tank trucks and LPG accessories.
We are now expanding our business services to Ibadan and Abeokuta towns. As part of our expansion, we advertise the lists of the following positions:
Responsibilities:
- Ensure maximum machine availability and efficiency through prompt attendance to electrical issues on the machine
- Provide in-house training to electro technical staff when the need arises to improve technical skill.
- Implement Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) audit recommendations and ensure all guards are intact and working.
- Attend to technical call out request from SMD Cell Managersl
- Implementation of downtime analysis of SMD machines in the Cell
- Ensure electrical issues are resolved and captured daily
- Ensure all checks and reports are up to date
- Ensure faults are fix as soon as it happened
- Ensure all quality parameters and detectors are optimized and maintained to ensure waste is minimized.
- Effective and efficient deployment of resources.
- Ensure downtime and root cause analysis is done regularly
- Ensure spares usage is controlled, captured and reviewed .
- Ensure that there is adequate communications about pending jobs for other shifts to follow – the description of such pending jobs must be clear, concise and technical in nature to aid in
problem solving - Continuously looking for better ways of carrying out repair and resolving issues
Installing new and existing equipment upgrade
Qualifications and experience:
- OND minimum in any relevant courses
- Knowledge of production processes and computer literacy.
- Minimum of one years working experience in oil and gas sec.tor.
- Good analytical ability
- Must be a Team player and have Good communication skills.
- Ability to define objectives and achieve success
Responsibilities
- Ability to weld all process of welding : SMAW,FCAW, GTAW etc
- Maintain single line communication with client on all matters relating to the project
- Ability to assign tasks to his subordinates on a daily basis with good reports writing skills.
Qualifications and experience
- B.Eng in any Engineering discipline, Trade test 1 and 2 in practical wilding.
- Awareness of safety rules and standard of the industry
- 1 – 3 years steel fabrication experience in major oil and gas LPG projects.
- Structural fitter superintendent
Responsibilities:
- Ability to understand and interpret simple and complex structural fabrication drawing.
- Ability to use all fabrication/fitting equipment and instrument.
- Awareness of safety rules and standard of industry.
Qualifications and experience
- B.eng in mechanical engineering or metallurgical or relevant trade tests and SSCE.
- Computer literacy is compulsory
- 1 – 3 years of experience in mechanical fitter
- Perfect understanding of torque valves and torque range.
- CNC/LPG machine operators
Responsibilities:
- Ability to operate oxy-fuel cutting machines, profiling machines etc
- Ability to take instructions and perform daily activities as required with little or no supervision.
- Awareness of safety rules and standard of industry.
Qualifications and experience:
- Relevant trade tests and SSCE. Higher educations are added advantages.
- 1 – 3 years minimum working experience
Responsibilities:
- must be able to determine the angle of any lift
- ability to calculate the weight of a load and good knowledge of plan lifting
- ability to prepare job safety analysis(USA)among other duties
- Good reporting skills.
Qualifications and experience:
- Candidate must have authentic certificate from a certified body, LEEA, JCI or its equivalent as minimum
- 3 – 5 years minimum experience.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to supervise the workforce on site.
- Ability to properly handle and supervise people on the equipment/machines
- Ability to report activities on site to the HOD.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Qualifications and experience:
- OND/city-guild (intermediate), Trade test II & III, certificate of competence minimum qualification
- Candidate must be vast in Ms office applications
- 2 – 6 years minimum experience.
- Spray painters, Fork lift operators, Truck drivers
Responsibilities:

- SSCE, NECO, valid driver’s license, certificate of competency.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise the Nigerian marine mechanics, issuing jobs, training and overseeing their job works
- To assist the management team in the completion of their duties by offering technical solutions to in house technical problems and services.
- To assist in marine services business from start to finish ensuring that correct processes are used and standards maintained and enforced at all times.
- In depth knowledge of small boat repair and production techniques.
Qualifications and experience:
- B.eng in any engineering discipline
- Qualified marine engineering apprenticeship
- Factory trained on outboards, diesel, outdrives and general boat system including electrical, water and hydraulic systems.
- Boat handling skills not imperatives, however yatcht-master or ICC is of benefit.
- 2 -5 years minimum experience required
- Community Development managers
Responsibilities:
- Lead and creation of long term development plan for all the local communities
- Develop specific guidelines for project implementation and project office administration in order to achieve all of the programme objectives effectively.
- Prepare reports and documents as required quarterly, outcome/impacts monitoring reports, technical assessment, monthly delivery and financial status summary, inventory status reports, bulletins etc.
Qualifications and experience:
- HND minimum; Bachelor’s degree, Masters’ degree preferred.
- Responsible for communications, consultations, planning and managing programmes that are meant to ensure a mutually beneficial and sustainable relationships between the company and the local communities (population of 20 000)
- 2 – 5 years minimum experience, 2 of which must be in community development/capacity building, management role working with local communities, PMP or prince 2 certification preferred.
- Software proficiency in ms office.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to handle and proper manage accounts
- Providing treasury support in the finance department.
- Ability to provide accounts payable support among others
- Ability to adhere to instructions from supervisors and pay attention to details.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
Qualifications and experience:
- B.sc, HND Accounting minimum, membership of relevant professional accounting body is an added advantage.
- 1 – 3 years minimum in major oil and gas sector.
Responsibilities:
- Should have knowledge of electrical gadgets and panel connections in various departments within the company.
- Should have knowledge safe handling and inspection of scaffolding materials.
- Should have basic knowledge of statutory regulations and safety requirements.
Qualifications and experience:
- B.sc/ HND in electrical engineering, OND/trade test(s) in electrical engineering and other electrical related courses.
- 1- 3 years minimum experience in major oil and gas projects.
Responsibilities:
- Should have knowledge in and dismantling of scaffolding designs.(cantilever scaffold, independent scaffold etc)
- Should have knowledge safe handling and inspection of scaffolding materials.
- Should have basic knowledge of statutory regulations and safety requirements.
Qualifications and experience:
- SSCE, OND or trade test I and II minimum.
- 1-2 years minimum experience in oil and gas.
Qualifications: Candidates must have a degree in any field of study.
