as Geoscience Technicians.
Job Title: Trainee Geoscientist

The Role
The successful candidates will undergo a
2-3 year training program in various
Geoscience skill areas. The training will be
on the job committed with formal training
and will prepare the individuals for
assignments in any designated aspect of the
petroleum exploration and production
anywhere in Nigeria.

Requirements of Candidate
Ph.D or Masters degree in Geoscience
(Geology/Geophysics). Candidates expecting
to obtain a Ph.D or Master's degree by
October 2013 may also apply.

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of
second class upper in Geoscience (Geology/
Geophysics) or Physics.
Possess NYSC discharge or exemption
certificate.
Other Requirements
The candidate must have a clear
understanding of basic Geoscience concepts
and principles as well as be self motivated
eith the ability to make effective individual
contributions within a functional team.

demonstrated ability to learn and integrate
quiickly is an advantage.
Remuneration

Can't find the correct link to apply....was directed to geoscientist technician and 2013 global geoscience campus links..... somebody help with how to apply please.

I don't think its out yet,I do know it came out by dis period last year, don't think its yet availabble on dia career portal.

It was actually out last year October and the closing date was December, I was surprised to see them advertise it again. Anyway who has an idea about the number of candidates they take per year? And also how is the program? Thanks

I just receive an email from Exxon Mobil for a aptitude/skill test today for Trainee Geoscientist position. Exam date is March 9th, 2013

Thanks cacking for your response, I was trying to know if they sent the invitations together or if they'll finish with Nigeria first before sending the invites. Anyway, time will tell, thanks again.

The e-mail is generic i.e. not location specific... You'll be instructed to send your preferred test location (Lagos, Uyo, Houston and London) to an address specified in the mail...

Previous editions were organized by dragnet.... Thus, a 'dragnet-esque' question would be a good place to start.
