ExxonMobil/MPNU: Security Coordinator
| 13519BR | | Job or Campus Folder | Security Coordinator | | Job Description | Reporting to the Manager Security, the incumbent of this position will coordinate the Company's security operations, investigation, and intelligence activities to ensure alignment with local business requirements and ExxonMobil's global standards
Other responsibilities may include:
•Executive Protection
•Routine engagement with assigned Government Security forces
•Guard force management and emergency response
•Gathering intelligence, collation, analysis and interpretation
•Monitoring and evaluating security threats to business
•Ensuring compliance with Company security expectations and standards
•Liaison with host communities and other stakeholders to be part of the company's security solution | | Requirements of Candidate | The ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:
•A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of second class upper division (2.1) in Law, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology and Computer Science
•2-3 years’ experience is desirable
•Relevant experience in the Oil and Gas industry or multinational is desirable
The successful candidates are required to have a deep understanding of the Company's security expectations, community and other stake-holder security-related sensitivities, and demonstrate the following:
•Organizational skills and leadership potential
•Strong written and oral communication skills
•Understanding of Nigeria security challenges
