Energy Company based in Lagos is looking for a highly experienced Company Accountant
Job Requirements:
As the Company Accountant you will be responsible for a broad variety of accounting assignments as in integral member of our corporate accounting team.
Your responsibilities will include but is not limited to:
- Purchasing activities management related to the Office requirements
- Service Providers Contract Management related to the office needs
- Follow-up, with the Office Manager, of the equipment imported by our EPC Contractor
- Master the Insurance Policies
- Enter Daily transactions into the projects in the GL
- Prepare Monthly report
- Control of our budget using Accounting Software
- Prepare Schedules for Annual Audit
- Full Liaison and Managing relationship with Auditors
- Liaise with Ministry of Payment of/Exception from Excise Duties
- Build and maintain relationship with bank
- Register Contributions/Investments with appropriate Government Authority
- Be able to arrange Letters of Credit/ Capital Repatriation paperwork
- And any other tasks that are related or ancillary to the post of Company Accountant.
