Design Engineer (REF CODE: DE 002)

Our Client is a member of Group Holdings which is incorporated and manages several companies in the Middle East, Africa and Asia; it specializes in the Electro-Mechanical field, agricultural products and accessories. They require the services of a Design Engineers

Duties and Responsibilities

•Handle the design process for factory products.

•Follow up design modifications, updates and implementation.

•Perform CNC programs for machines.

•Filing and archiving of the design related documents.

•Prepare detailed drawings and layouts for different fabrication sections following standards.

•Create needed 2D and 3D drawings and layouts for new designs.

Educational Qualification

•Engineering degree (Fabrication or mechanical), BSC or above

Professional Qualification

•Professional qualifications would be an added advantage.

Experience

•Min 2-3 years in sheet metal fabrication Work Company, preferred to be in design section.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Attributes

•Design engineer has very good experience in using 2D and 3D modeling software, preferable to be Autodesk applications (AutoCAD, Inventor...)

•Good knowledge in Microsoft applications (word, excel…)

•Deep knowledge in fabrication processes and techniques, especially sheet metal forming field

•Good knowledge in design drawings and layouts standards

•Good knowledge in CNC and computer aided machines (programming, operation and configurations…)

•Good knowledge in preparing BOQs

•Good knowledge in sheet metal work calculations and applications

•Systematically approach in finding and solving problems,

•Good communication skills and being able to work under pressure

•Supervising production lines.

•Follow up production process

•Ducting, power generation and sound treatment fields

•ISO standards for related mechanical accessories
