Delta State Gov Undergrad&Postgrad scholarship 2010

DELTA STATE GOVERNMENT (DTSG) UNDERGRADUATE AND POST GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP (MASTERS’ & PHD) IN NIGERIAN UNIVERSITY
This is to inform the General Public and Deltans in particular that the Delta State Government has limited vacancies for Undergraduate and Post Graduate Scholarship (Masters’ & PhD) in Nigerian Universities.
Interested candidates should visit the following institutions/Commercial houses to purchase the scratch cards at N300.00 and apply on-line:
UBA Plc,
Oceanic Bank Plc,
Bank PHB Plc,
Delta State Bursary & Scholarship Board, Asaba.
Eligibility:
1. For undergraduate
Candidates must be of Delta State Origin
Must be in 200 level
Must have a CGPA of 3.5 and above
2 For Masters Degree
Candidates must be of Delta State Origin;
Candidates must possess at least a second class degree from any approved University; or upper credit in case of Polytechnic graduates;
N.Y.S.C discharge certificate or letter of exemption;
Must be in Nigeria University.
3. For Ph.D.
Candidates must possess a good Masters degree from a reputable institution, registrable at Ph.D level;
Evidence of admission in any Nigeria University.
Closing Date: 15th August, 2010
Shortlisted Candidates:
Candidates will be listed on our website as from 18th August, 2010
Shortlisted candidates are expected to come to the center with the original copy of the duly completed application form for qualifying examination on the 28th August, 2010.

Good motive, gr8 opportunity for our Delta state bros dem, I just hope other South-South States and other State Governors in general follow suit...Mobil/ESSO, Shell, Chevron, PTDF, NDDC, Total etc no go reach everybody

@tripleC- i dare to say this wit all confidence that this arrangement will definitely be overshadowed by internal riggin.... Delta state of all, why do they ve to sell scratch cards to that effect? 'd the undergraduates also buy d scratch card? I don't believe in it and i 'm not applyin

I will advise U go for it if you decide to study in naija/studying in naija.
