A highly reputable compnay located in Ikeja is in need of a company driver.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY OF A COMPANY DRIVER

• Ensure safe and comfortable conveyance of customers from point-to-point in a professional manner and in accordance with traffic rules
• Ensure vehicles are cleaned and adequately maintained for the customer’s comfort.
• Ensure necessary road-worthiness checks are conducted on the vehicles daily.
• Render assistance to customers to getting in and out of the vehicle and also with their luggage (where required).
• Communicate with customers in a clear, concise and polite manner.
• Ensure customers are respected and welcomed regardless of age, sex, race, colour or culture.
• Respond promptly to all calls or queries from the corporate office.
• Communicate explicitly with the customer on rates and acceptable modes of payment.
• Collect fares from customers and record daily sales in the docket.
• Ensure vehicles are driven in accordance with the traffic rules and company procedures, ensuring the safety of the passengers and general public.
• Ensure defensive driving is practiced throughout every journey while being aware of potential hazards and ways to avoid them.
• Report all incidents involving injury to any passenger, third party or damage to property to the appropriate quarters immediately.
• Account for all daily sales to the Finance & Accounts department in accordance with company procedures.
• Promote the company brand and endeavour to enhance the company’s image through appearance and behaviour.
• Handle any emergency situations in accordance with company procedure.
• Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Operations Supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

• A minimum of SSCE/GCE/NECO Certificate or its equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years driving experience.
• Not more than thirty-five (35) years of age.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Must have knowledge of routes
