Can someone wit 2.2 apply, or is it just for first class and 2.1 ?
Lekanasipa is right, I was there last year and they asked for all d documents he listed. You need to go there with d originals of all your documents. As for transcript, you can get one from ur school and make photocopies(transcript is not less than 5K in most nigerian schools). It will also be good if u have an award(e.g best graduand, best project etc). You need proof of that too. There is a mark for that. Get recommendation letters from ur lecturers too.
As for the questions asked, they re usually general questions. I was asked to RECITE the national anthem and pledge, the name of d commonwealth secretary, the name of the nigerian that was once the secretary(chief emeka anyaoku). Some pple were also asked questions on MDG.
Don't worry or panic about the interview, only 2 or 3 questions re usually asked cos there re more applicants than they can handle.
As for the PhD student, I really think you need to be there in person.
Wish u guys d best!
@lekanasipa ,thanks so much for the update...May God reward you. Please tell the house if you know anybody that has gotten this scholarship on merit in the past, because i am envisaging foul play by government officials since there is no form of assessment test that may distinguish the less privilege.I am saying this bcos if must come to Abuja from Lagos,i will have to borrow money as i am not working at present, therefore the risk must worth it...ONE LOVE.
For inquires you can call 0709 820 1344 or send a mail to [email protected].
All the Best.
Thank you all for the post, u guys are really making it happen.
The letter of recommendation has been done online, do we still need to get hard copies. We have to know so we can act!!!
Please at the last page of the application they asked for Transcript and Admission Letter. If i dont have this two items how can i still apply.

somebody please help oooo, what is their website??????? abeg
@jprince have you gone for the interview. If yes how was it?
Like I always tell friends, job or scholarship is never a right. The interview was just a chat. Their standards might just be some stuff on psychology or composure of interviewees.
You may consider their questions irrelevant and irregular. They may be tough on someone and cool on another. The nature of questions were general from nowhere
e.g. A medical doctor was asked when man first landed on moon
you could be asked questions concerning your state geography, culture and politics.
I know someone who was asked to name and describe the current weather experienced in UK
The panels are expected to score you on your psychological stability and completeness of your papers (admission letter, letters from referees, evidence of professional membership, etc)
Display calmness in your response to their questions and dont argue when you know you dont have a point.
Most parts of the marks/scores you get (70%) come from the content of your form, statements from your referees, transcript in relation to your chosen course
then you stand a chance after gaining scores ahead of competition.
They said IM is key. I say its a lie! My mum is a senior staff in the board and they can only influence less than 30% of your scores if they will but there are DFID officials involved, so how?
Just do all you are supposed to do and be calm and positive even though its not your right
Nice One. Thanks
