Please anyone with the info about when the next chevening Scholarship is going to be open should try n post it or where one can get the late registration key from. Please i need this info. thanx

In a reply 2 my enquiry last week, they slated d interview 4 march 15 and successful applicants only were meant 2 be contacted 5days b4 d interview date. So i think d selection has been done

I doubt that because there is no way they can shortlist with inviting at least a memeber of this House.

a number of factors are considered in the selection process. one, your course of study must be relevant to the economic, social and environmental development of your country hence, such courses like environmental science/ engineering, peace and conflict resolution, law, political science, economics, international relations, etc are considered. two, one out of every 25 applications is selected making it more competitive. another thing u have to consider is that you cannot overrule the possibility of corruption since selection was made by british council in nigeria. well, you can still enquire from them.
but i have learnt my lessons.
hmmmmmm!! they didn't post any information about the interview on their website about the interview, @ikeemesowum; what lessons have you learnt, so we can equaly learn from them

mind you the one we applied for last year i termed 2010/2011 british chevening scholarship and then one that will commence later in september this is 2011/2012 scholarship . my lesson is that henceforth, i will limit my course to enironmental sciences since gobal warming and carbon emission is an issue now. in the last one, my course was MSC BIOMEDICINE. another important thing, try and get an unconditional or a conditional offer of admission from any UK univesity before the next application as a proof of your seriousness.
