Graduate Geophysicist

JOB SUMMARY
CGGVeritas is seeking to recruit high calibre graduates to work within its UK operations. The Graduate Geophysicist will be involved in working on all aspects of project work applying our leading edge technology seismic surveys from around the globe.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Graduate Geophysicist would closely with their Project leader and Team Leader receiving guidance to enable them to learn new techniques such as; Multiple/Anti multiples, Seismic velocity analysis, Surface statistics correction, Noise attenuation and Imaging techniques in more depth. You would be expected to manage your time and resource available to you to ensure that every step performed is on time as per the project schedule. The Graduate Geophysicist can be moved from project to project to have a global understanding of what a processing project is.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Educated to BSc / MSc / PhD level in Geophysics, Maths, Physics or equivalent qualification
Fluent in English
Excellent interpersonal skills
Good organisational skills couples with efficiency and ability to self-motivate is essential
