Business Development Coordinator

Minimum Education & Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Business with minimum 2 years and above experience in the oil and gas industry, OR

• Higher National Diploma (HND) with related training and 2 years and above experience in the oil and gas industry

• Demonstrated conceptual and practical understanding of services contract tendering, bid process and contract management.

• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite Applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook), Networking Applications, Windows / NT Operating Systems, Adobe Professional Suite, and web based applications

• Proven ability to communicate and to apply interpersonal / organizational skills in order to obtain the cooperation of others as required

Key Job Responsibilities

• Respond to RFP/RFQ documents, bid tabulations, recommendation for submission as necessary and in compliance with stated requirements.

• Identify and develop opportunities within the Energy, Oil & Gas sectors into full project.

• Develop proposals & complete bids to meet technical specifications / commercial acceptance and ensure timely submission to clients.

• Plan, direct and monitor implementation of strategies for achievement of operational and functional targets of the company

• Maintain regular contacts and visit with updates within the industry and for proper follow up on deals and report same to the management.

• Maintain good corporate image for the company in all business transactions with clients

• Organize technical presentations to our clients and other interested parties

• Obtain and renew all regulatory permits and licences with authorized bodies and affiliate operators.

• Submission of quarterly performance report of operations to the General Manager and recommend remedial actions to correct deviations from plan.

• Provide status information on all outstanding requisitions

• All other functions as issued by the company
