Job Functions

• Execute trades on all floors of the Nigerian Stock Exchange
• Obtain the best prices possible for clients at the time of dealing
• Manage and review the proprietary portfolios
• Manage the execution of government or corporate bonds
• Research information about the market in domestic equities and government bonds
• Provide appropriate advice on investment and risk strategy to clients
• Monitor clients’ portfolios and advise them on which funds or companies to invest in
• Liaise with NSE for all forms of capital raising activities
• Review orders to ensure accuracy, proper record keeping, and compliance with regulations
• Regular Liaison with SEC, NSE and other regulators

Qualifications
• CIS
• Minimum Second Class lower or equivalent qualification
• At least 1year hands-on experience in stockbroking
• Sound knowledge and interpretation of financial ratios

The candidate must demonstrate the following skills:
• Good interpersonal and communications skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Attention to detail and highly organized
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
