QUALIFICATION
A candidate for a Business Development position requires minimum of a Bachelors degree in any discipline and a minimum of three years experience in ICT sales, marketing or business development; with clear understanding of sales processes.

JOB DESCRIPTION
o Set sales targets and define strategy to achieve these targets and to follow the set strategy punctually
o Manage the proposal development process and maintain the time-lines for the proposal teams
o Coordinate with sponsors concerning size, standards, conditions and timing of research
o Develop draft proposals based on team meetings and discussions
o Maintain the Business Development databases
o Support marketing activities, including trade/ scientific shows, mailings, etc.
o Creating new Business opportunities.
o Creating and being accountable for all clients’ proposals, contracts and any further documentation.
o Motivating and paying acute attention to details in ensuring all sales opportunities to the firm are captured and explored.
o Business quotation preparation and follow-up calls, create sales/account plan, reviewed progress and identified opportunities for furthered sales.
o Provide support to customers, often on a helpline, e-mail, and offering clear advice and solution wherever possible as well as keep a check of inventory.
