Vacancy: Research Assistant
Equity Research Assistant needed for immediate start in an Investment and Research firm on Lagos mainland.
Job Functions
- Work closely with Research Analysts to provide required financial data
- Analyse capital market data
- Prepare daily and weekly capital market reports
- Maintain an updated database of financial market data/information
- Other duties as required by the Head of Research
Qualification
- Must posses a degree in finance, economics or other numerate discipline (minimum of 2'1)
- knowledge of the stock market is highly desirable
- Prior work experience in an equity research firm
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
- Smart, mature and ability to multi-task
- Good writing skills
