Job position: Associate Executive Director
Job description:

• provide strategic leadership and management of LITE-Africa's program in country
• creates and supports an environment which results in strong partnership, influence, knowledge sharing and innovation
• accountable to the founder and board of trustees for strategic oversight program, accountability and affiliation process where appropriate
• manages LITE-Africa's senior management team and line manages the work in the organisation
• ensures that HR management in the organisation is organised with best practices
• takes the lead in representing LITE-Africa nationally and globally

Qualification:

• good analytical skills and ability to think strategically
• good judgmental skills and willingness to take risk based on analysis
• background in law, specifically human rights law and international/national law
• commitment to promoting gender equity and the interest in marginalized people
• high level of financial management skills to steer the organisational budget
• excellent written and verbal communication
