Job Position:Marketing / Business Development OfficerReports to: Head Business DevelopmentSupervises: N/AJob Summary• Sell and market Metro Taxi’s products and services.• Provide consistent and qualitative customer service to the customers.Principal Duties and Responsibilities• Work with the Head Business Development to develop visitation/activity schedule/plan to facilitate realisation of the sales target.• Develop a plan based on the approved strategy in conjunction with the Head Business Development.• Carry out regular customer visitations and manage customer relationship.• Proactively identify and report on potential revenue streams and new market opportunities.• Process advertisement sales and follow-up with operations personnel to ensure prompt execution in line with organisational policies.• Address customer complaints; escalate appropriate issues and follow-up with relevant personnel to ensure proper resolution.• Proactively gather current customer data/information and regularly feed customer service unit with this information to update the customer database for reliability and accuracy.• Collate and analyse sales data and generate periodic sales reports for the attention of the Head Business Development.• Prepare agreed activity and performance reports on a timely basis, for the attention of the Head Business Development and other relevant parties.• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Business Development.Competency and Skills Requirements• Good knowledge of Metro Taxi’s products and services.• Good oral and written communication skills.• Good customer service and relationship management tools.• Good networking and teaming skills.• Good data gathering and analysis skills.• Good problem analysis and solving skills.• Good proficiency in the use of office productivity tools.Key Performance Indicators• % of sales target met• Number of customer complaints resolved• Level of absenteeism• Timely resumption of dutyMinimum Qualifications• A first degree or its equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing or any relevant discipline.• A minimum of three years (3) cognate experience.Kindly submit your Resume with the title as subject to [email protected] shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
