Urgent Vacancy for an Admin/Facilities Officer
Job profile
To manage the delivery of a range of Admin/facilities management services, including office premises, furniture, office supplies, fleet and business support services and provide a high quality, comfortable, safe and efficient working environment for all staff, customers and visitors.
- Ensure effective Generator/Diesel maintenance, AC and electrical repairs/maintenance.
Supervise and manage support staff including all outsourced cleaning personnel and review of outsourced and cleaning services/performance to ensure all duties carried out in accordance with contract
- Responsible for procurement covering office supplies, facilities and resources.
- Periodic reviews of premises and its furniture and equipment to monitor standards (good condition and well maintained); repairs instigated or improvements proposed as necessary
- Ensure all payments for recurrent items are processed according to terms and conditions of the contracts and leases
- Manage the vehicle fleet services and activities of pool drivers in the organization
- Monitor and ensure company vehicles are kept in good condition at all times. Weekly check of the vehicle log for journeys, repair, maintenance and other expenses.
- Office storage maintained in good condition, well arranged and fits for purposes. Orders of office newspapers, printed supplies and stationery reviewed for the efficient use for staff.
- Manage the telephone services, contract lines and liaise with telecoms service provider to ensure seamless telephone services of the organization.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A minimum of HND or B.sc Business Administration or in a relevant field.
- 3-5 Years practical work experience in a similar role
- Good Communication & Interpersonal Skills
- Good Time Management and Organization
- Good Negotiation Skills
